Had the worse response from doctor regarding my broken tailbone pain, basically nothing can be done and have a hot bath! Really that the best advice I work full time have a child to look after and a house to keep I would love to be able to sit in the bath all day! And I can't because laying down hurts! I also asked to be referred for an xray to make sure I haven't done anything more as I am 8 weeks in constant pain and that was ignored totally by the doctor who didn't even have the decency to call and speak to me just wrote a reply on patches

Ended up going for a private GP appointment with a doctor who spoke to me over the phone same day and listened to me and has given me some pain relief yes I have to pay private prescription but after 8 weeks of pain ill do it

This doctor has been named on here recently and anyone who has had dealing with this doctor will know exactly who it is

Shame as the other doctors are brilliant just this doctor let's you down seriously

worst doctor I have ever encountered Dr. Chanchal Bhattacharjee, no professionalism, no interest in the patient, even though the person suffers from severe depression. Great grace on the phone. such people should not be in the position of a doctor where you need to have a bit of sympathy for your work and patients. I have no objections to anyone from this clinic except this doctor, Dr. Chanchal Bhattacharjee

72hrs wait for a call back from GP to get an explanation regarding abnormal blood results. Oh, was told it would be 48hrs originally when I rang to make an appointment. Couldnt be given a specific time slot, was told it would be 48hrs. Didn't get a call back so rang to see why when the 48hrs was up only to be told " well actually it's 72hrs". Honestly? Going to A&E for a blood test and waiting for the results there would be quicker...would be a 16hr wait to be seen. . Then another 6 for yhe results and then perhaps another couple of hours for the explanation....certainly not 72hrs! No wonder A&E departments are stretched to breaking point when GP's provide such a poor service. Oh, and did I mention how many calls it took before I eventually got through when I rang to make an appoibtment? 75 call attempts from 8 30 till 8.50.! You can't book an appt online...none ever available....there website information is out of date...they say they had a review that says they were rated "good" but this was back in 2016 which was probs correct at the time. Since Covid however face to face appts are impossible, the telephone manner of some GP's leave a lot to be desired can't fault the nurses, they are fab, the reception staff too, I feel sorry for them as they must get a lot of frustrated patients ringing exasperated from the length of time to get through, and of not being able to bee seen that day or even called back that day. I feel sorry for elderly patients who are not Internet savvy, who can no longer call to request a prescription.Just don't get why instead of having just one phone, they can't have designated lines for different services, a prescription request line, a results line, and more than one appointment request line. I have High Blood Pressure and the process of trying to receive an explanation for my results has raised it . Why haven't they posted a more recent review of the practice since 2016 ? Is it because it now fails to be rated as good...and they don't want anyone to know?

Wonderful reception staff and doctors. When my children have been poorly they’ve always been seen promptly. The reception staff are helpful and empathetic and the doctors are thorough and caring. Thank you for looking after us!

Having had the need to contact Idle Medical Centre several times in recent weeks I feel I need to compliment the practices reception staff. They are caring, professional and nothing is too much trouble. I spoke again today to staff member Andrea who is an absolute credit to this practice. This is vitally important as it is people's first point of communication. Lucky also to be getting treatment from Dr Foulks.

Dr batachagee has a god complex in my opinion, he doesn’t listen to what you need or say. He compared my injured shoulder to a kitchen wall unit !!! Saying it wears out after time. I highlighted to him that’s all well and good but a cupboard doesn’t feel pain !!! I think it’s time doctors listen and treat what’s needed in a patient not just nod and say next !!
