I go to the meditation class run by the Tara centre on a Wednesday at Stanley Community Centre in morecambe. It's absolutely fantastic, would recommend everyone to try it at least once and you will thank yourself for it! Whether your looking for a little peace within yourself, self love or even just an hour away from everything. The people are super friendly and welcoming, both teacher and the group. You will not be disappointed

Since coming to Lancaster 2 years ago the Tara centre has been a life saver. It has provided me with the opportunity to make friends in a safe , supportive and loving environment. I love ❤️ the forest garden get together every Friday led by Julie and all the meditation sessions led by Jitei and Julie. I have really benefitted both mentally, emotionally and spiritually. Thank you so much x

Being part of this community is good for my body, mind and soul. I have increased my mindfulness practice and developed a real unexpected love for Qigong. And all from my home for the moment at least. Compassionate, knowledgeable, joyful people with the occasional pink elephant for good luck ?

I like going to meditation on Wednesdays. Feels like the practise is genuine and kept quite basic. Very welcoming and easy going atmosphere. Jitei the monk brings us tea and we have a nice chat/reflect at the end of the meditation session. A really fantastic place to go with interesting and knowledgeable people.

I have enjoyed several sound bath meditations which included the use of crystal bowls and gongs to name a few.
Each time I have been taken on a different journey and have felt emotions been released.
Leaving me feeling lighter.
I absolutely love them and always excited to go back and do more.
The tara centre is a great little building and Elham ( who hosts the meditation) is very good at what she does, leaving me to feel confident enough to go deep within myself and feel totally safe in the journey.

I received a very warm welcome when I first attended the Tara Centre. I then enjoyed a deeply relaxing guided meditation. I now attend regularly. It has a very homely feel 🙂

The Tara Centre is a sanctuary for many in need of refuge, therapies, or even just some peace. I’ve enjoyed some amazing Sound Healing sessions led so sensitively and skilfully by Elham. My main activity there is the Wednesday evening Zazen meditation. We are very blessed to be taught by the Zen priest, Jitei, whose presence, compassionate wisdom & humour make it truly an anchor point in my week. And afterwards, it’s so enriching to engage in lively chat with amazing people-not to mention the tea!
