As a family we were blessed to have my precious Nana looked after at this care home for the last 10 months of her life.
Nana had dementia and insulin dependent diabetes. The staff and management at Greenways supported her in a beautiful, active and dignified way.
Each member of the staff from the management team, care team and support staff knew my Nana, they knew how to recognise her moods and knew exactly what she liked her life to look like. The love, care and attention to detail my Nana was shown allowed me to be content in knowing she was well cared for, safe and happy.
Because of her needs the team had to work with the community nursing team to provide the care she provided. They did this consistently and professionally.
During the last 2 weeks of Nana's life she received compassion and support to help her to pass in the way she wanted. As a family we were supported to be there for her in the way that was right for her and for us.
I cannot recommend this home highly enough.

Really happy with the care given to my Mum, especially with the COVID-19 lockdown. Although I cannot visit her I am happy in the knowledge she is safe being well cared for.
