As a patient of this practice I feel very lucky and fortunate that I have such a great practice. The reception staff always treat me with empathy and always try and fit me with an appointment as soon as they can. I have never had to wait very long for an appointment. Today they managed to give me an appointment within a couple of hours, I was probably lucky as there was probably a cancellation which I was able to take. The practice clinicians are all brilliant and have always given me exceptional care. 5 Stars doesn’t seem quite enough for this practice.

This has always been a lovely surgery, I have been under their care for many years, luckily not needed too often. Recently I did need them, and as usual all staff are very helpful and friendly.
I was in for an appointment quickly after calling, and Dr Satish was really friendly, helpful and very knowledgeable. Just wanted to say thank you to all.

My husband and I can highly recommend this Doctors Practice, my husband has quite a complex medical history and we have never had a problem getting an appointment in an emergency. All the Doctors and nurses are very friendly, caring and professional and the reception staff a very helpful. We are very lucky that we are registered with this Practice.

Have to day from the first point of contact in making a appointment to seeing a doctor,nurse or Paramedic. The service we have received is very good , face to face appointment's, to phone and blood tests etc...we are very pleased since moving here 3 years ago & have used our local surgery more often then normal as sadly unforseen circumstances with heath problems has had a big impact on both my husband's (due to a Recent heart failure condition) as life has changed & made many challenges these last 2 years and myself with problems with my eyesight of late but with all the obstacles and pressures it really helps knowing we have support from the surgery from getting appointments, to help with new medication ,to making time to listen to us the patient and not feeling rushed .I would also like to thank Mike the Paramedic on a problem with my eye as this has been a on going problem due to 2 eye operations of late and with a recent problem that has worried me with my eyesight although I did contact the eye clinic at the hospital but with little response so when i had appointment with Mike he listened & examined my eye gave me advice & support & I did manage to make a eye test appointment the next day after seeing Mike and the eye Optician has see something in the back of my eye after a scan and I'm awaiting for a emergency appointment , when the different agencies work together it's works so well & hopefully my eye will be OK .I would 100 per cent recommend westmeads surgery. There may be a few hiccups but we are all human and we as patients have to be patient at times .
The many services at the surgery offer so much advice & support and I would like to Thank all the staff for there hard work and understanding.

Amazing greeting and help from receptionist Maria this morning who let me in to sit when I arrived at 8.20 and as I did not have appointment said she would help me when opened at 8.30.True to her word when I explained reason for visit she booked me in to see paramedic almost immediately. Always great service from reception but Maria wnet 110% today,thanks so much

This is an excellent Surgery, everyone is so friendly, I was looked after recently by Nina, one of the Paramedic Practitioner's. I got an appointment at very short notice due to my wife nagging me . I felt like nothing was too much trouble and that time was not an issue, even though Nina finished at 1800. (I didn't leave till 18.30) I had various tests carried out whilst there and also went to St Richards the same evening for further tests, this was also arranged by Nina which meant I was seen immediately upon arrival, she is a great asset to West Meads Surgery and I thank her very much for putting me at ease and leaving no stone unturned.

I would like to say I have been seeing Dr David Henderson at West Meads recently. What an incredible doctor and human being. He immediately put me at ease, was so easy to talk to and gave me plenty of time. An absolute credit to the surgery, I'd probably have to say the kindest, most understanding doctor I have ever seen.

The surgery has been brilliant supporting my parents at a very difficult time. They are so patient and no matter how busy they are, they always follow up to ensure they get the care and medical attention they need. A particular thanks go to Claire, Mike, Julie and Daisy for going above and beyond!
