They will do everything in their power to prevent you speaking to a doctor either on the phone or face-to-face. The best you’ll get is a health professional/practitioner on the phone calling you back.

You were left with two choices
Call 111 or go to A&E

Is it Any wonder our A&E departments are rammed.

We all understood that we had to stay away during lockdown/Covid, But we are all very frustrated that these systems are still in place long after Covid/Lockdown is over. Please return to the old systems and let us see a doctor when we feel we feel we need to see one!

After spending four days in Q.A. Emergency Dept. with breathing problems my Discharge Letter stated that I was to stop taking all my blood pressure medicine immediately. The week before I was being treated for a chest infection which the hospital stated I did not have.
My doctor was instructed to review my medication but after THREE ignored e-consults I managed to speak to a Pharmacist who arranged for me to receive my proper medication.
Very poor service especially as this is my health.

I can’t fault Solent View Medical Practice!

eConsults are always responsed to within a day, and usually within two hours. Several times it’s been within 10 minutes. Communication is fantastic, particularly from the Reception team. The medical staff are thorough and reassuring.

The consultation notes left on my NHS app are detailed and far above the standard my partner has received from another local GP surgery.

I need HRT. I did the online e consult as you don’t get to speak to anyone without it. I now have to wait additional delay of an extra two weeks to get a withheld call This is my health you are messing with. If I could have HRT prescribed privately, I would. The delay is totally avoidable and unnecessary. Poor service.

Advertising for more patients. It would be a good idea to attend to the ones you've got several patients are not happy the way they have been shoved to oneside you can ring.e.mail and fill an e.consol in and still get nowhere loads of issues lack of communication the biggest fault and things appear on medical notes that haven't happened.

In comparison to other surgeries around in which you can’t get an appointment for weeks maybe months on end this medical practice in my opinion is very good and it could be a lot worse. Grateful to receive a response within a few days by E-consult considering how busy they are and if it’s more urgent I feel that the waiting times on the phone are understandable yet they always get a response to you within a timely manner. Nearly always friendly and helpful staff behind the desk. I don’t feel that this practice gets enough recognition or appreciation in these times.
