We had struggled for a long time with NHS AFO’s for our grown up son. We booked an appointment had a very good first meeting, he was assessed and a quote was done.

AFO’s were made and the quality was very good. After a few weeks they slightly rubbed- went back, adjusted and now perfect. The service, attention to detail and also the care taken was brilliant . I wish we had used this service and company a long time ago- Chris was brilliant. He really wanted to do the job 100% right and took the time to explain and help. Great service!!!!!

I came with an old custom orthotic which I asked to be replicated. A previous attempt from another company left me with a barely usable product but Chris was very thorough in making sure every detail was measured and noted down, resulting in a new shoe insert that feels almost identical to the original and has a much more professional look to it.

I have used Manchester Orthotics for other jobs since too and can't fault the quality of the workmanship. Overall, great company and great service.

From my initial enquiry, through to my swift appointment. The service, the attention and expertise was second to none by Chris Bowden. When I arrived I was in constant foot pain with my AFO inside my shoes to enable me to walk with my footdrop. Chris examined my walk, my feet . The out of the shoe AFO Chris suggested was measured and ordered. 2 weeks later I was walking pain free after 11 years of suffering. Chris was so patient and so helpful in explaining how to attach the AFO to my shoe . Thank you .

From the prompt response to my enquiry, through to choosing and paying for my shoes, I had an excellent experience with Manchester Orthotics. Friendly and helpful office staff, a detailed assessment with the orthotist and a good range of shoe styles. The orthotist I saw (Chris) was experienced and very competent, and clearly committed to getting the best fit and quality for his clients, taking individual needs and lifestyles into account. I felt that I was in good hands and I'm looking forward to having a pair of shoes that actually fit.

I asked for a new cover for my custom-made orthotics. Normally, this would be done where they were made but London is not really around the corner. Still, they weren't prepared to do the job but offered to make new custom orthotics which would cost ten times as much as a new cover.

I called up to enquire about the services as I'm not sure if this is a retail store that sells knee braces, or a hospital-like service that requires you to see a specialist first, and the receptionist didn't even know the answer.

He didn't know what type of business this was or whether or not I can come in a buy a knee brace. Very strange indeed.
