I was referred by a gp here to a breast clinic in November last year as there's a history of cancer in my family, not heard a thing. Gp who referred me hasn't a clue what's going on and hasn't followed up the referral. I have had an mri scan at a private hospital which showed there's changes in my breasts, I've told a gp at St andrews, still nothing. I really feel like noone cares. I've recently noticed a reddish purple lesion on one of my breasts and I don't really see the point in going to see any nhs gps when they think there's nothing wrong. Diagnosis hypochondria when I do have real physical problems. I feel like giving up. Are there any good nhs services now?

I rang yesterday and was denied an on the day appointment and was given one for next Wednesday, I went to a pharmacist in Tesco Salford who said I needed to see the GP. I called again today and explained over the phone what the pharmacist had said and thankfully they got me in, I need to thank Dr Jude today. What an amazing doctor he is, he was patient, kind, warm, friendly, empathetic, thorough, listened, understood, caring and the list goes on. He is the best doctor I’ve seen in years. Thank you so much and please St Andrews keep this one he is amazing.

One of the best doctors I've been in since birth. Staff always friendly and helpful. Doctors are knowledgeable and not trying to throw medication in your body for no reason

Hello. I am very sorry that getting to see a doctor borders on a miracle. I suffer from many diseases and despite explaining to the reception that I need to contact a doctor for further treatment, the reception knows better. English is not my first language but I understand very well that these ladies do not listen at all. It is humiliating for me to explain to a person without qualifications why I need to see a doctor, even if the doctor has determined the course of treatment, the lady at the reception knows better. Doctors are good specialists but the reception is an impossible path. The last situation is that I get a text message that my visit has been canceled, I have to call for a new date, I want a visit with any doctor, I get answers that I do not need a visit, that the reception will call somewhere, write me something back (of course nothing happens) ..... I have the impression that I am treated like an idiot, I ask for the possibility of seeing a doctor and not listening to ladies who are supposed to register and not treat. Best regards.

Well what can I say you have sent me a text asking for me to give feedback on my recent appointment
My appointment was for 16:55 I arrived at 16:45 signed in and I left 1hr later at 17:45 after sitting in the waiting room for 1hr and not being seen
I had to leave and could not wait any longer as I was parked in aldi car park and you only get one and a half hour parking in the car park as I couldn't park in your car park as you now close it to patients
Then unbelievably you ask me for feedback on this horrible experience

Brilliant. The receptionist on the phone, possibly Charlotte was really helpful and really helped me find the right pathway and who to see for my mental health issues etc. May I say Dr Jude/Dr Sutherland and Dr Rittin are all incredible GP’s and a credit to the NHS.

if i could give 0 stars i would. they left me without medications for weeks only to tell me they can’t give me them anyway. they didn’t bother to check for illnesses either and labelled everything as “anxiety”. turns out i have a heart condition. useless, every last one of them. DO NOT SIGN UP WITH THEM.
