Receptionist Phoebe lazy and rude attitude her supervisor Jess stepped in like a hero only to sound even more uneducated, she clearly has NO idea how to supervise or operate a doctors surgery, they're totally unhelpful, unsympathetic, and hung up because they couldn't handle a simple request which was a emergency I cannot wait to remove my father from this practice I don't advise anyone to be putting their loved ones into such a uncaring, unprofessional, lazy and literally scraping the barrel with work type of environment. Disgusted I would change your supervision and see who's at the reception if they're welcoming and helpful because they're certainly aren't. Doctors themselves are lovely but your reception has ruined that.

I tried to register my daughter with the GP on 13/12/2024.I called them after filling in the form online to see if the registration has been completed because of my daughter’s prescription on 16/12/2024.I was told to call back on 18/12/2024. On the 18th, they told me my daughter’s registration can’t be completed because I myself isn’t registered with cornerstone. They could have told me this when I called the first time but made me wait for 5 days before telling me. Knowing fully well my daughter needs her prescription. The receptionists need more training . I will be moving my daughter’s GP registration elsewhere

Worst service in Manchester!!! My partner has not been able to get a sick note for a month! The receptionist lies, shouts and behaves on the phone as if they were more important than the doctor! Horrible service, I am signing out of this clinic. Do not come here, they do not answer the phone and when they do they behave like princesses, they write the wrong prescriptions, there is always a problem and if you want to point out to them that they did something wrong again they yell at you and throw the phone away! If this clinic wants to operate it has to fire the manager and all the ladies from the reception. Shame!

Been there today, excellent hospitality, this is my first time going to gp here in uk. I don’t understand why people give bad review, I was worried looking at reviews, but it was nothing like that , they were so nice and caring .

Lady at the reception was yelling at me and at my 4 years old child instead of cooperating to find a suitable solution for the out of hand problem I incurred. Date: 5th of October 2023

I tried to book my appointment for a regular health check on my blood. Doctor didn't know what I'm talking about. He said to book this appointment via reception, which I did, the nurse that took my visit didn't know what to do.. I mean... Is it really a gp practice? After I explained what it is to a NURSE, she took my blood, which was horrifying... She didn't clean my skin before the injection, she didn't wear a gloves while doing that. She was talking about tattoos, and showed me hers... She unzipped her dress and I saw her in the underwear.
Is that a professional?
I'm definitely changing this gp, if anyone have a place to recommend, please leave a comment 😉

Hi,

I got the letter from NHS Endocrinology on 30/03/21, which mentioned that I am at 15.1% major osteoporotic risk. Because of that, I waited for a long time for the doctor's action to give me medicine, however, the GP didn't call me and nor any medication. Even after a written message online throws the “Patchs” on May 2021, despite that they did not contact me. I made an appointment with the GP myself and in that meeting, I was prescribed medicine.

Furthermore, on 28 May 2021, I ordered my regular prescription online through the patient service. However, they didn't do so. So I had to go to the GP myself and apply for my regular medicine.

In addition, I gave an answer to respected Ina Pownall on 28/04/2020 with their reference to the GP's letter of 14/04/2020 but they haven't answered me yet. I submitted this letter to the GP receptionist myself.

In all of the above contexts, I feel it is the patient's responsibility to take care of himself. But the worry is that you can't do anything about it even if you want to because you are not a qualified doctor and can't take any medicine from the open market for his treatment. GP and NHS have rules or system patient treatment followed by their system. In this case, the patients are helpless.
