I had reason to discuss my medication I put in a request for the pharmacist and I received a call from Zahid Iqbal. He was very patient and listened to what I had to say, which was a lot. He asked questions regarding the issue and was very thorough. I have spoken to him previously and he is very friendly whilst being professional. He came up with some good suggestions and I was happy and pleased with the outcome. I feel he's a valuable member of the team. Thank you.

Absolute disgrace! I requested an emergency prescription for pain relief that is on my repeat prescription after a fall. I broke a bone in my left foot & sprained my right ankle. I explained to the receptionist how much pain I was in. I later rang my pharmacy to check if it had been sent, no. I hoped it would be done for Saturday morning but again no. How caring is that. It's taken me 8 phone calls back and forth between 111 and my pharmacy this morning and a lot of distress, and pain because 'you' can't do your job! Do 'you' think it will be done on Monday? It's not the first time I've been let down by this surgery. Do you actually care?

I recently visited a clinic for a blood test and some injections, and unfortunately, I was quite concerned by what I observed. It seemed that the NHS guidelines regarding hand hygiene and the use of gloves were not being followed.

I noticed that the nurse did not wear gloves during the procedures, which immediately raised a red flag for me. Furthermore, there was no hand sanitizer used. In a medical setting, where the risk of infection is inherently high, these practices are essential to protect both the patient and the healthcare worker.

I believe that adhering to these basic hygiene protocols is not only appropriate but crucial for ensuring patient safety. I hope that this feedback can be used to improve practices because what I went through was disgusting.

Very poor service. Repeat prescriptions for my baby never approved in the time it says on the website.. once was even advised by reception to go to the walk in!! Further to this my child also went in for a measurement of his head and the male Dr measured it 3cm smaller than 2 other measurements taken by 2 consultants at the hospital. Made a complaint about the prescriptions and was called back by Dee Radcliffe in the management team however it’s clear nothing was done to rectify issues with authorising repeat prescriptions and them being approved in the specified time frame. Really a below average practice I recommend doing your research before signing up here.

I've been a patient here for over 10years and in recent months the surgery patient/ask my GP triage system has become useless! There's no way around it sadly. My partner and I both needed to see a GP and both of us waited over 10 days for a reply on ask my GP. I got so desperate for help in the end I rang them to ask what was going on. Their response was that they allow ten days for replies on the website. It's just not good enough. The doctors at the surgery have always been so good and patient focused and the system change worked initially but not any more. It's sad. I know it's not the fault of the staff, rather the system as a whole. But patients will ultimately suffer in the end if they don't quicken up the service.

I was transferred over to Flixton Rd when Trafford Health Centre shut. This is not a complaint about the GPs themselves, but rather the atrocious organisation behind the scenes.
On two separate occasions my hospital consultant has written to the practice, requesting for medication to be prescribed and on both occasions it took 6 weeks, several phone calls and emails for Flixton Rd to actually prescribe it. They failed to inform me when they actually had prescribed the medication and failed to tell me which pharmacy they'd sent the prescription to!

The practice uses Ask My GP which is good, and avoids the impractical 8am rush to call for an appointment, which working people cannot do, but then the practice over relies on phone consultations, rather than face to face or online.
I am an NHS clinician at a hospital with no phone reception and have told Flixton Rd on several occasions that I therefore can't do phone consultations, yet Flixton Health Centre continues to send out phone appointments, with a completely impractical 4-5 hour window over 1 or 2 days.

Dire! If I could give it 0 stars I would. This GP service is absolutely terrible. Would not sign up!
Ask my GP is impossible I've been waiting almost a month for an appointment and was told my phone call (as they can't be bothered to do face to face) has a four hour slot. I work full time and have two children. I desperately need my medication and don't think I'll get it. They have absolutely no empathy at all when you speak to receptionists apparently they can't access diaries and/or lie about the situation. They even agreed the service is terrible.

UPDATE: Sadly things have gotten worse again with mistakes happening a lot on prescriptions and lack of contact when askmygp logged. Again, it's not the GPs but the reception/pharmacy staff that are making the mistakes or not coming back on askmygp. Infuriating when you follow their process then have to wait even longer because of their errors. I've been waiting over a year for a hospital consulation, finally had it, and logged the follow up as requested with the GP but it's like starting over again now. Dealing with this surgery makes my anxiety & depression worse and I don't feel the staff are particularly patient focused.

I was transferred here when my previous GP surgery closed. Things have improved a little since other patients have been moved to other surgeries, but the appointment system is really not good. AskmyGP often closes off early and it can be difficult to take a GP call back as the window can be Saturday or Sunday 9:30-12, which isn't practical with family life so you can often miss their call back. I did have to go to the urgent care as I couldn't get a GP appointment recently.

The doctors I've seen have been good, don't rush you despite being very busy. I do feel they do care about the patients. Each doctor I've seen either myself or for my children have been very kind and understanding.
