I would give it 0 stars if I could.

Doctors never on time. Twice in 2 weeks I was waiting in excess of 1 hour of the time given. Funny how they have signs up saying if patients are even 5 mins late, you'll not be seen.

Not the same doctors so there's no prior knowledge of any of your issues so most of the time is spent repeating things over and over and do any of them actually read notes on computers?

If you need an appointment and ring at 8.03 - good luck, you've more chance of winning the lottery 3 times in succession than getting past the gauntlet of folks on the phones to get any appointments.

I was just refused a same day appointment at the receptionist's discretion - apparently, it's not important for me to discuss a daily medication with a doctor until the 3rd of December.

That silly rule to discuss the details of an appointment with the receptionist, when they're clearly not qualified to determine what's important, needs to go.

I'd give a 0 star if I could. My medication ties in with my quality of life and that's being messed with now thanks to this lovely receptionist 🙂

Awful doctoring. Lazy putting it mildly. Favourite line is "take paracetamol", anything more challenging than that they don't want to know. Not interested in understanding personal feelings to tailor care for the individual. Genuinely have zero trust or confidence in any of these doctors, to the point where I'd rather not go anymore. If this was privatised they wouldn't last a day!

Up to now I would have given this surgery 5 stars as I’ve always been able to get an appointment, spoken with great staff and doctors etc. But yesterday set me back. I am struggling to remember the receptionist name (Melissa? Marissa?) I wanted to book an appointment for my partner to see the GP to discuss ADHD symptoms and Right to choose options for future assessment and treatment. There was a form we were going to bring that assists the appointment and the GP to assess these symptoms and it is by all accounts the starting point for what is a complicated and complex journey for people experiencing ADHD.

The receptionist was blunt in affect, went silent for periods of time and ultimately told me to drop the form off at the desk. So abrupt was the conversation I accepted the advice and ended the call. However it didn’t sit right with me. I called back, now 11th in the queue. When she answered again I started over as if I had never rang that day. She asked “what’s this for?” And I said it’s to discuss ADHD symptom. Oddly her response seemed influenced by the reason for the appointment “yeah no we have no appointments left”. I asked are there no appointments left because of the reason I want and appointment? Or are there actually no appointments left? Bearing in mind I was just on the phone 5 mins earlier. I told her as much as well, that I had just been speaking to her. Still maintaining a drab, unprofessional tone she asked “what are
You on about?”. The whole experience was dreadful. No compassion, no professionalism, no willingness to assist, it felt as though she had prejudged me and my partner by wanting to discuss ADHD symptoms. So we are no further forward, can’t even get past the receptionist to start this process. Her advice to drop the form off at reception was incorrect. The purpose of this form (Right to Choose) was to bring into the appointment for your GP to discuss with you, and to then begin the process of being referred for diagnosis in the first instance. She would not accept this. I would recommend some training on this issue so as to avoid this error in the future.

Shocking customer service. You assume that a gp surgery and their staff would want to help people
