Dr. Hodson attended to my 4-year-old with exceptional patience and attentiveness. He took the time to listen carefully and made a thorough diagnosis without rushing to conclusions. My son was so delighted with the experience that he keeps telling everyone about his visit with Dr. Hodson and the lion sticker he received from him!

I moved to the area not so long ago and this is the worst medical center I have ever been. Reception staff are unbelievably unprofessional. My first phone call was joke . Receptionist kept telling me to go online over and over again and kept explaining to her i need to register so finally she booked me in with a GP out of hour ,but she struggled with that too had to get a colleague to do it for her . No people skills whatsoever. The most shoking thing is that they are not capble of reading blood tests results. Said to me everything came back normal , but I've explained to her thats not what it says online , it's showing that one particular test is not done at all and she proceeds to explain to me that it's normal if it doesn't show results . Absolutely disgusting behaviour and someone like that shouldn't be aloud to work in a medical centre. I've filled out a form online like she said for that particular test and guess what!!! I'm booked in for a blood test straight away to get these results . If I would of believed that cow on the phone who told me my blood tests came back normal I wouldn't be having another blood test . I'm putting formal complaint and moving to a different medical centre.
Edit : Ive picked up my blood test form as I was asked and went to gateway clinic. The nurse there explained that she cant do my bloods , cos the form I was given by springfield staff was unacceptable. Can't see what test needs to be done. Thankfully they went above and beyond to get the exact same form and take my blood , but i came to find out today that the wrong blood test was done. So basically I had the same blood test done again, but not the one that was missing in the first place. Im speacless ... Im attaching the blood form i was given by Springfield staff for you to see. Im back to square one meaning I'm waiting for appointment and I have no idea what this appointment is for . Im supposed to see medical advisor to explain and show non existing blood test results.

When coming on line at 8.30 to put a text message in but no message leaving capacity have to ring and hold onto phone while at work. Where I work has a duty email that things/advice can be emailed back. What I want is not an emergency but advice this week would be appropriate as it's medication. But no appointments all taken so no other options. Need a better IT system or way to use it.

The booking system they have is a joke, get a text advising they can’t renew your prescription till you’ve spoken to a doctor, this is after my request on a Wednesday. So recieved the text around 11am the following Monday, went on online told to ring as form was shut so rang like it advises you to and when I rang i was told to go online tomorrow morning. This doesn’t help anyone especially when medication is needed & chances are will either forgot to do the form or remember when it’s to late or for those that can’t or don’t understand the process online or those that don’t always have access to Wi-Fi or devices.

It states appointments are available daily but only for a short period of time and then the forms switched off.
As for pre booking appointments that’s only with nurse and still you have to wait at least 2/3 weeks to get one just for routine bloods.

I was also given a urine bottle during a recent medical review, I decided to take it home and return the following day but once home I looked at the information on the label and it was someone else’s name & dob and NHS number.

Been with the surgery for over 20 years but I saw a doctor called doctor hodson for the first time I'd like to say wot a lovely man. He put me at ease straight away .he listened to wot had to say if I have to make another appointment to see a doctor I would ask to see Doctor Hodson again 💯

Ann on reception was the kindest, most helpful person ever. She reassured me and advised me as best as she could, better than the rudest female pharmacist who probably should not be working with people if she can’t be bothered to help then. I am so thankful and hope ann gets the recognition she’s deserves x

I've had a few consultation at the surgery and the service has been great. Some of the receptionist aim to help and will give options within their remit or if not they have a member of the team contact you within 48h. I need tests performed before I could start specialist treatment, it's not even the responsibility of nhs drs to manage private recommendations but I must say the practice was so efficient and proactive. Within 24h I met with a pleasant and well informed HCA. DR Seaton is so efficient he was on the case within days. Big thanks to your team.
