My experience with Trentside Medical Group has been utterly unacceptable. I've encountered gross incompetence at every turn.
Booking an appointment in advance is virtually impossible, leading to unacceptably long waiting times—both to get an appointment and then once you're actually at the surgery. It's clear there's a fundamental failure in how this practice manages its patients and their time.
On top of the logistical nightmare, the level of arrogance and blatant disrespect shown to patients is shocking. There's a severe lack of empathy and professionalism, making every interaction frustrating. Patients deserve far better.

Have repeatedly messed with my prescriptions. This can be in the form of only signing off part of the prescription and leaving me without needed medication, or the latest episode of forgetting to send a signed off prescription back to Boots and Boots cancelling the order altogether. I am a lung disease sufferer with 25% lung function, if I dont get my medication I'm in serious trouble so forgetting to send my signed off prescription back to the dispensary is unforgivable.

Have only visited the Netherfield surgery twice. On one of those occassions I suffered a serious hyperventilation in front of a nurse during an appointment. At no point during the appointment was I offered help to ease the breathing problems I was having. At the end of the appointment, as I still had not calmed my breathing down I asked if I could just sit in the room and get my breath back before leaving. The nurse said no, the next patient is due you'll have to wait outside, so while I was still hyperventilating she turfed me out into the coridoor and left me to it.

I am moving doctors soon as this kind of experience is unwanted. I am a seriously ill patient requiring a double lung transplant and this is how they treat people.

They breached confidentiality and did nothing with my complaint. They was treating me for 3 years with arthritis in both knees when I had an xray there was no Arthritis. Iv changed GP practice and they have been Amazing and referred me to a specialist within a month of joining.

They love to put people down as "did not attend" even if you do ring before your appointment to rearrange. They also have a wonderful and rude receptionist who sounds like she would rather be anywhere else whenever you try to make an appointment.

A GP at this surgery falsified my records out of spite, meaning I've been unable to get fair treatment through any area of the NHS. Despite admitting fault, the surgery refuse to delete the lies from my records. After messing me about for 18 months bouncing a complaint around and refusing to give me a final response to take things further, they've now advised they're removing me from the doctors list on Christmas day. I have several serious health conditions and am prescribed a controlled drug which has never been properly monitored by this surgery. They've now left me with no NHS services thanks to the lies of Dr Kennedy, and maliciously timed my removal for Christmas day. Vile surgery, and dangerous to patients. Needs a full investigation in my opinion. Be careful what they're accusing you of on your records, they're proven liars

I really can't fault this health centre as every time I've needed help, the reception staff, GP's & nurses have done their jobs perfectly.
We moved from a seriously dreadful health centre and were initially worried that Trentside wouldn't be any better.....we were totally wrong!
We've only been here a year, and I've had so many unexpected illnesses, yet every single person I've come in contact with has been so compassionate and understanding.
I've never had a problem getting an appointment. In fact, after working for the NHS for over 15 years, I've found this to be one of the easiest surgeries to get an appointment at!
I'm stuck in the wilds of Scotland without my medication, yet the receptionist I spoke with truly went out of her way to ensure that everything was sorted today. I am so very grateful 🙏

UPDATE:
The receptionist on Thursday (05/12/2024) morning is so rude. I've spoken with her before, and her manner is appalling. She spoke to an elderly gentleman in the same way, which is disgusting. All the other receptionists there are lovely and have empathy for the patients and relatives but not her. Get rid!

I've been to a&e multiple and urgent care multiple times, i am struggling with my heart and stomach, things that i need to get looked into by specialist. I keep getting told i need to get my doctor to recommend me but I can't even get an appointment with them, I'm off work and cant even walk due to these problems,when i did manage to get an appointment i was late by 12 minutes which i phoned up an hour before and told them i was stuck in heavy traffic. I got to the surgery and was told to sit down and sit, after 10 minutes i was told the doctor refused to see me. my health is getting worse every day and i hold that surgery responsible as I'm not getting the help i need. i don't recommend this surgery to anyone with actual health issues.

Always managed to get an appointment when needed, and the appointments have been mostly on time. Sometimes quite difficult to get an appt.(long wait on the phone) but to be expected in this day and age! Staff have been very friendly 99% of the time too. Dealt well with me needing extra months of medication due to travelling abroad.
