I found them to be excellent and courteous, even though I couldn't find the place, at about 9:30am I'd been sitting outside the surgery, google maps said I was two minutes away, finally several miles later an elderly lady guided me to the surgery, got in at 11:30am, what a PLONKER or should I say I did a Rodney.
Staff were great!!!!!

This is the only rating I can give because I've never had an appointment with the doctor. I don't even know their name and I have been registered here for over a year. I've called many times, but usually just get hung up on because they're too busy. Appointments are for THAT DAY only so if you can't get through, well that's that then.

I have rang them and was on hold for half an hour. So I walked to the surgery, 20mins later (still on hold), and pressed the buzzer outside and tried to make an appointment. "Appointments can only be done over the phone." I informed them I'd been on the phone to them for 50mins. When I was inside, no one was answering a phone, despite my phone still being connected.
I then booked an appointment to see the nurse for a flu jab, to then arrive to say I can't have it because I have an egg allergy. So a complete and utter waste of time.

I dont have a problem with the doctors or nurses they are very good,. the problem is trying to get through on the phone to make an appointment.
if you have time to sit and wait on the phone for at least 3 hours but by the time you get through there are no appointments left. and have to go through the same thing the next day then the next then next. used to be quicker to walk over a mile to it on crutches, and speak to reception. but cant even do that now. it is a pity it has come to this.

Absolute joke of a GP surgery, can't make a phone appointment even if you manage to get through after HOURS upon hours listening to the hold music.

I went into the surgery with my phone still ringing in my pocket, there was nobody waiting and the receptionist was just sat at the desk listening to the phone ringing and not answering it. have made a complaint to local MP and will be contacting the ombudsman, something needs to be done about this practice.

This practice has really gone down hill. It is really hard to get appointment and reception never pick up the phone. If on the odd occasion you do manage to get through their telephone manner is very stand-offish. I phoned all day got no answer so I went down in person. There was me and one another person and two receptionist but yet they struggle to answer the phones? I asked to speak to the surgery manager but she was too busy to talk with me. I asked for her to call me but as of today I am still waiting some several months later, terrible patient care!!! The NHS maybe under a lot strain but manners cost nothing!

If I could leave 0 stars then I would. Doctors are all very nice but... IT IS THE RECEPTION STAFF THAT ARE THE PROBLEM WITH THIS PRACTICE. I tried earlier this week to get an appointment. Heaven forbid I need to book an appointment outside of works time but despite explaining that I am actually willing to wait a couple of weeks for an appointment time to suit my work commitments, apparently they are incapable of booking this is as "the appointments are not on the system yet". I was told to phone back early this morning to join the appointment rat race. I phoned twice in works time, spending 10 mins each time listening to the ring tone. On the first occasion, the phone was picked up and slammed down with out even managing to speak to anyone. On the 2nd attempt, I was cut off again without managing to speak to anyone. I would love to know what actually goes on during the staff training days (one Thursday every month) as the time is clearly not spent training reception staff. I am now forced to go down the complains route. You will feel my wrath!!!!!

Had my prescription changed without informing me about it beforehand so when I got to the pharmacy I didn't recognise the packaging or the name and the pharmacist didn't even know what the drug did and had to check. At the doctor surgery they told me that they changed it but didn't give me a reason why, so I said I won't be taking it and that they need to rectify it but then I was told that the drug was apparently being discontinued. Seems convenient.

It's also impossible to ever get through on the phone to make an appointment or even get an appointment at all. There are never any appointments available, it's impossible to book in advance. I don't understand why they think it's acceptable for people to go to walk-in centres when they are signed up with their doctor in their local area. I was trying to get an appointment for my mother and was told the doctor she always go to, the doctor who knows her and her medical history, is not available to see her because she has patients that are on a priority list. I told them my mother should be on that list due to her age and illness and had to insist for her to be seen.

Most of the doctors are great when you do get an appointment but the service otherwise is shocking and unacceptable. I don't understand how this is not being fixed and improved.
