As a fairly new patient at Chadderton Medical Practice I have been consistently extremely impressed by the treatment I have received. From the receptionists through to the doctors, I’ve always found the GP practice to be exceptional in both care and professionalism.

I recently had the privilege of being seen by Dr. Rosina Noor after fracturing both of my arms and potentially having fractured both of hands as well.

Dr. Noor initially called me for a telephone consultation and after describing the pain I was experiencing in my hands, she offered to see me in person on her lunch break on the same day. This gesture almost felt too good to be true, the genuine concern Dr. Noor showed over the phone felt incredibly rare.

From the moment I entered the room, I immediately felt at ease. Dr. Noor greeted me with warmth and genuine kindness, taking the time to listen to all of my concerns without rushing me. It's rare to find a doctor who combines such expertise with such a personal, compassionate approach which I truly appreciated.

Dr. Noor went above and beyond in every aspect of my care, and I cannot thank her enough for the exceptional treatment I received during my visit.

Dr. Noor’s professionalism and thoroughness stood out throughout the consultation. She carefully explained the situation in detail, making sure I understood my condition and all available treatment options. She answered every question with patience and respect.

While Dr. Noor may have seen it as just doing her job, her thoughtful and empathetic approach made a world of difference to me. It had a profound impact on my experience.

After a particularly negative experience at A&E, Dr. Noor's professionalism, empathy, and true concern for my well-being reinstilled my faith in doctors. Dr. Noor is truly the best doctor that I have come across. I feel incredibly fortunate to have had such a positive experience, and I am grateful to Dr. Noor for making such a lasting impression.

I’ve had a consistently negative experience with the receptionist, both over the phone and in person. Her attitude and the way she communicates with people are unacceptable, and she clearly lacks basic customer service skills. It’s disappointing and honestly quite off-putting.

That said, the doctors themselves are very friendly and professional—I have no complaints about their care.

Please don’t respond with the usual generic line about not finding me in your system, as I’ve seen in previous responses to similar reviews. I’d appreciate a meaningful acknowledgment and action instead.

I would also like to request that you refrain from accessing client information without a valid reason or consent. This constitutes a breach of data protection regulations and is unacceptable. Please be aware that this matter will be formally reported.

I have been with this practice many years now and have nothing but praise for Dr Alam, Dr Akhtar, Practice Nurse Julia and HCA Julie and all the staff over the years.
However, more recently I have seen Dr Ali on 3 occasions. On each occasion he was professional, caring and compassionate. I really felt he listened to me about my symptoms and how they were affecting me. He was very thorough, arranging blood tests and treatment. He explained my test results, asking how effective treatment was with me and changing it until we found an effective solution whilst awaiting a Dermatology appointment.
I would also like add a big thank you to Lisa the practice receptionist who has now helped me on several occasions. She is friendly and respectful, listening to the reason for calling and goes above and beyond in reaching a solution. Nothing is too much trouble for her and she always calls back when she says she will.
Also thanks to receptionist Mags who was a great help to me on Friday when I returned from holiday and was desperate as short of a new medication for the weekend.
Dr Ali, Lisa and Mags are all fabulous assets to this practice. Brilliant practice, keep up the good work xx

I’ve noticed a few negative reviews, and after my experience, I completely understand why. One of the reception staff—an Asian woman—was extremely rude and unprofessional. Her behavior is not acceptable in a healthcare setting, and she clearly isn’t suited for this kind of role.

On a positive note, the doctors are very kind and approachable. The issue lies solely with this particular staff member, both over the phone and in person.

I don’t know why people are leaving bad reviews for this practice, the practice is one of if not the best practice in Oldham the staff are lovely and the doctors are great, it’s hard to get an appointment at any practice these days, give them a break they are human just like the rest of us, hats off to all the staff keep up the hard work you are doing an amazing job

The GP practice is one of the top ones. I alway hear from others how they are having problems with their GP etc but I have not had any problems with Chadderton Medical Practice. Very quick at responding and attending to patients needs.

Thank you to Lisa of the Reception team for going above & beyond in helping with my query about a referral. She contacted the GP, got the documents I required, has printed them for me & phoned me back when she said she would. She's a credit to the practice.

I give 5 stars to Lisa the practice receptionist this is becuase when ever we ring she is respect-full and kind and she also tries her best to resolve the problem. She listens to what we have to say and she is a good person. Thankyou Lisa.
