The medical center is absolutely appalling. Calling 8am and waiting approximately 40 minutes but you’ve been told all the appointments are gone. Even children or babies don’t get appointments and get suggested to go to walk in centre trout of hours.
The old staff at the reception were really helpful but now the new reception staff aren’t helpful at all, they only come for the pay.

As usual on hold for twenty minutes then cut off and can't get back in the queue. Shocking service. This is an update on my experience trying to get an appointment 12 months on from the last time I needed medical care . My advice is don't bother to even try to get an appointment. If you do manage to speak to somebody eventually they will only tell you all appointments have gone and re try tomorrow. Had enough of them now going to try another doctors .how this place is still going I will never know .rubbish service

Since they have “improved“ the telephone service you have moved from a guaranteed fifth in the queue to yesterday I was 39th in the queue and today 22nd in the queue at 8am.Almost pointless being a member of this Doctors‘s surgery.

Absolutely terrible service.
Not only are you waiting 45 mins in the queue just to speak to someone the second the lines open at 8:00am, but they'll say you're booked for an appointment and not actually put it in the system so you have to try again the next day. They won't even make the effort to correct their mistakes. Shameful.

Apalling levels of incompetence and medical negligence. This practice with-held my medication for cluster headaches (often listed in the top ten most painful conditions) because the pill that was supposed to block them had. been mis-prescribed by this surgery. I had to plead my case with the lead practitioner who, upon checking my records, discovered I had been prescribed HALF the minimum recommended dose. This caused me a great deal of unneccessary pain and expense over a period of several months.
Last week they messed up my prescription leaving me without medication for a week - and had the temerity to blame me!
I saw a student doctor recently due to intense pain in my face, he sent me off with a "I don't know what it is", without checking on my history of cluster headaches or the fact I have a plate in my head on that side. No x-ray. No referral.
Today I attempted to see a doctor again for the same reason, but receptionist Amy Young had other ideas, claiming I was 10 minutes late (5 of these minutes spent queueing up) I was turned away from the surgery. What sort of medical professional turns away a patient? I had to take time off work and walk for 40 mins in the rain to get to the surgery. All for nothing. Again. Amy Young - you are a disgrace, I don't know how you sleep at night . I'm done with this farce of a practice and I would advise anyone against registering here. I will be raising an official complaint with the Ombudsman as well as the practice themselves and telling everyone who will listen about my apalling experiences with this incompetent practice. You should be ashamed of yourselves , go back and read your Hippocratic Oath, because your medical ethics are non-existent. Disgusting. AVOID AVOID AVOID

Update: They have now rejected my repeat request for an athsma inhaler yet I had to walk to the surgery to find this out as it is apparently surgery policy to leave patients without medication and not tell them. I have therefore raised an official complaint with the surgery a week ago. To date I have received no response. Not even an automated aknowlegdement. I also caught the receptionist slagging me off to a colleague when she thought I'd gone - so much for confidentiality! If I could rate them lower than 1 star I would.

Myself and my husband transferred here a while back and it was the best move I have ever made i can not fault them from the doctors nurses and reception staff they are all amazing. I never have trouble getting an appointment and always feel listened too, not rushed and have got further with this doctors in 12 months than I had with my old one in years. Keep up the good work xxx
