I had been struggling for some time with my left hip and despite the pain was in denial. By the time I presented to Mr Kim not only could I barely walk but my right hip also needed doing. I was also struggling with acute back pain. I was a mess. I researched the robotic approach and was confident it was the best option. Mr Kim was completely wonderful. He suggested doing them both at the same time which although daunting I knew was the sensible thing to do. To say I was terrified would be an understatement but I was looked after incredibly well by the whole team and I am now 11 weeks into recovery. I am totally pain free in my legs and my back, off all pain killers and walking independently for a number of weeks. This has been a life changing experience. I could barely get up the stairs Pre operatively but I am now starting to do all the things I love once again. I am incredibly grateful to Mr Kim and his team for everything they have done and I would not hesitate to recommend.

I have been given my life back at 75. It is unthinkable how life would be without the replacement and it being so successful. I appreciate that not only has the prosthesis to be made and installed accurately, the surrounding tissue needs to be repaired well. I am so grateful.

I have been building up my strength with daily hourly dog walks and longer hikes.
I climbed the 3rd highest mountain (1km high) in England (4.5 hours) at 6 months and a low fell walk (2.5 hours) the next day. I can run briefly.

My thanks to Mr Kim for a remarkable personal service on top of excellent surgery. I believe that it is so important to get this done accurately and the robotic method appears to offer the best solution to date. The transformation is priceless for me.

Manchester . I was very impressed at how straightforward it was to make an appointment . I could self refer and was seen rapidly.
Mr Kim was very approachable , professional and explained everything fully . I was given a date three weeks after the initial consultation ,
for surgery .
I have made a speedy recovery and am back at the gym and walking miles .

He is very attentive. The stay at the Spire Hospital was excellent, and the follow up with physio just what I needed. It is wonderful to be pain free after many years of arthritis.
