Absolutely appalling. Nothing ever gets done right and there is no communication. As mentioned in previous reviews the phone never gets answered and you end up being passed from post to pillar. I have been sent to the wrong place for the assessment and ended up running around North Hykeham so lost my appointment and it had to be rescheduled. Subsequently it was postponed due to the physician being unwell. Finally I attended the assessment (all 5 minutes of it) and was referred for an MRI. After my MRI I received a letter saying that I cancelled 2 appointments and failed to attend another and have been discharged. Luckily after that they called me with the results and said they would refer me for physio. Apparently I was discharged by mistake! After another phone appointment I agreed to attend physio at Newland. I received a letter with referral nr, address of the clinic and phone number. Upon ringing that nr I spoke with somebody at "Ascanti" that is a third party providing physio services for the NHS. They said they could not find my referral so took all my details and said they would check and get back to me. They didn't. I rang again after a week and there seem not to have been a record of me contacting them earlier. I went through all my details again and they said they would get in touch. After another week of waiting I finally have been contacted but they said it was for a phone assessment and that the nearest clinic to attend face to face was in Sleaford and that they don't have a clinic in Newland at all. I have been told to contact the referring doctor again to clarify. I rang today four times and nobody answerd or rang me back. Still waiting for the conclusion to this extremely frustrating ordeal.

Thank You , My NHS, MSK Louth & Matt Search !
I have been struggling with my mobility getting gradually worse since Covid . Felt like every muscle and joint was in constant pain , but recently got even worse when I couldn’t lay on my right hip . I was becoming more and more distressed , felt like no one wanted to help , that my daily life as it was , was over . First step in the right direction was Dr McGowen at Hawthorne Medical in Skegness . I also mentioned to out of hours Dr Rashid that a recent XRay on my hip had come back normal yet it was still giving me chronic pain, she promised me everything would be sorted . I was sent to LCats in Louth where I saw Matt Search . I broke down and told him everything that was going on . He was very patient , listening to my explanation between sobs ! Poor Man , he actually cared ! explaining what he thought could be the problem and suggested a Cortisone injection which at this point I was ready to try anything . This was 5 days ago and the amount of mobility I have got back is astounding , unbelievable that obviously something WAS going on . Not only can I sleep on my favourite hip I am able to walk pain free unaided for the most part . I have still got some problems from degenerative discs in my spine but overall I feel like my old self . That’s all I ever wanted

The MRI scan itself I had here was fine but getting this all sorted out from start to onward referral took a long time. At this place there is a general feeling of being understaffed and a bit ramshackle - with scans carried out in a large movable unit parked beside the buildings. (It all has this temporary or "on a shoestring" feel about it.) My guess is that this is all to do with privatisation of services that should really stay fully in the NHS. "Care UK" run this outfit and I suppose they know that less staff means more profit. What "says it all" to me is what happens when you try to phone them. It can take 15 minutes or more for anybody to answer the phone and there is not even audible evidence at your end that the phone is actually ringing at their end. Its like this has been set up to stop patients phoning at all - and I think its really poor! (Sometimes the phone is simply not answered at all and you just have to give up!) No doubt the shareholders are enjoying pocketing our tax payments though.

My MRI results hadn't been sent through by MSK Lincolnshire to physio dept when I attended my appointment today, where THEY referred me, so the physiotherapist had nothing to work with. The sketchy notes that had been sent from the MSK doctor were incomplete and failed to mention any of the serious and debilitating conditions I've lived with for 40 years. When will doctors realise that it's necessary to treat patients in a wholistic way, not just by isolating individual conditions? I'm not surprised by this slapdash attitude as the doctor I saw at MSK Lincolnshire was dismissive and arrogant during consultation and did not want to listen to his patient. This is all very unprofessional, uncaring and inefficient. It is unacceptable - and a waste of tax payers money.

Had an MRI scan at the mobile scanner at Louth hospital 12/09/2019. The scan was arranged for 6pm, so didn't have to take any time off work, which was brilliant. I was very fearful as claustrophobic, but the two members of the team were amazing, so patient and calming. Explained absolutely everything that was going to happen, and was told I could be removed from the scanner at anytime. Pleased to say with their total reassurance I managed to complete my scan. Grateful thanks to the team, and our amazing NHS. Jo Bullivant

Received a voice mail saying they tried to contact me re my appointment, gave the phone number to call. I can swear on my life, there was no missed call from them. Tried about 10 times to call them back with the average time to"be in the queue" for 30 mins. Never managed to come through. Disgusting - at least should have an option to leave them a voicemail. Very rude!

WHAT A BISMAL! Had an appointment here for 2/09/2017 (a Saturday) I thought it was strange to be offered an appointment on a weekend but I rang to double check etc. And it was all fine.

The place is in the middle of nowhere with no clear signs of how to access the building. When I got there all the lights were off and doors locked. I rang 3 times and there was no answer, I have had back problems for years and was happy to finally be taken seriously by being referred to a specialist. Turns out that hopefulness was bloody pointless since 'I've been made to look and feel like a complete idiot. So angry, had to spend a small fortunes getting public transport to this appointment!

Great service - the consultant took the time to clearly explain my issue and gave me great advice on what I should do to manage it. The lady who called to book my appointment gave me lots of options and emailed me immediately with the details for my session. Thank you.
