My Grandfather came to stay at Lancaster Grange for an 8 week respite after a hip operation. The care that he received in that time was outstanding. His dignity was always respected and his requests were always met in the most professional manner. Lancaster Grange is a beautiful care Home and is kept that way in terms of cleanliness and overall presentation. We loved the fact that we could go in to join my Grandfather for lunch where the food was always amazing and we were treated so nicely. His bedroom had a lovely outlook of the garden and he enjoyed spending his time in there, getting some much needed rest. I have no qualms in recommending Lancaster Grange in the highest regard - the Home served my Grandfather well and we were privileged to be a part of the Barchester family.

My father spent the last 15 months of his life at Lancaster Grange. He had a large, airy room with excellent facilities and a lovely view over the gardens. He could have many of his favourite pictures and items from home around him. He was made welcome from the start and settled in remarkably quickly. He greatly appreciated the fact that his privacy and his wishes were respected at all times. There are numerous activities to choose from and Charlotte, the activities coordinator, and her team are fantastic at setting up new activities tailored to resident's needs.
I have shared numerous meals with Dad at Lancaster Grange and have been most impressed by the standard and variety of the food.
I have been constantly amazed by the kindness and devotion shown by the care staff, the housekeeping, hospitality and admin teams. I felt part of the Lancaster Grange family. Thank you.

I attend Lancaster Grange Care Home every week with my baby and toddler music class. I have always found all the staff welcoming and friendly. A variety of residents join me every week and they are all happy and eager to interact with the children. Their needs are addressed quickly by staff if they ask or appear in need. Lancaster Grange is beautifully decorated with a real 'home from home' feel. The lounge I use for classes is cosy and not at all clinical which I particularly like. I am proud to have been asked to be part of the Lancaster Grange family.

Our U3a Group came to sing at Lancaster Grange last week for a carol singing afternoon. From the moment we all arrived we were treated with such courtesy and respect and made to feel very welcome. The coordinater made sure all residents had seats and could see the group. There were many visitors in this afternoon as it was 2 residents birthdays, again they were made to feel very special with a beautiful birthday cake.
After the singing we were treated to coffee tea and mince pies. It was a wonderful afternoon and I can honestly say all the residents were happy and well looked after. Looking forward to going back again in the New Year.

Lancaster Grange is a very nice place & the Staff are really nice who look after our Mum, she has a room complete with ensuite facilities, her own belongings surrounding her & this overlooks the gardens. Mum gets to eat with friends, in lovely restaurant style or can eat in her room. They have daily activities to join if they wish, go out on little trips & all of the staff coordinate all of these things to make it a special place which you want for extra special people in your life. I have been attending the Caterpillar music classes at this home for around 4 months now. The class itself is fantastic but the staff at the home absolutely make it even more special. Everyone is so happy to see all the children and give them lots of attention. Watching the residents smile as they watch the class warms your heart and I can tell from an outsider just how much the staff care about the residents by how warm and respectful they care for the residents during the class. Am super happy this is now ran weekly, my daughter adores it and we love seeing everyone we have now come to know and be friends. Would highly recommend this home.

My 1 year old daughter and I attended the Caterpillar Music session at Lancaster Grange. We were made very welcome by the staff and residents and the home has a wonderful homely atmosphere. Residents are obviously well respected and cared for and the activities on offer are many and varied.

My mother received 362 days of dedicated care at this home. Her every need was tended to and because of her physical handicap she had plenty of understanding care from all the staff.
I was particularly impressed at the treatment given to the whole family. We were offered meals, snacks and drinks besides the fabulous support of the staff especially during the days before she passed on. We were encouraged to stay night and day and we were given a room with ensuite to rest in. The staff remained cheerful throughout her last few days and there was plenty of laughter and talk right to the end. Mum sang her way out with a few ' La! La's' which made us smile.
During her stay, mum always complimented the staff on their politeness, the chefs on the good quality and tasty meals and the laundry girls on the softness and lovely smell of her nightdresses.
Not only did the staff make sure that she was happy with her care, they continually involved the family to make sure we were happy too.

I have no problem in recommending this Care home to those families concerned about leaving their loved ones to be cared for by strangers.
