Today, I had a loop procedure done and arrived an hour early, but to my surprise, I was called in within just 15 minutes. From the reception to the ward, the nurse who took me in was super friendly and the surgeon ,anesthetic doc I encountered was incredibly kind and helpful. I had been feeling anxious before leaving home, but once I arrived, I felt reassured. The doctor in the theatre was easy to talk to, and he explained everything clearly, which made me feel comfortable. The anesthetic team was super great too; I didn’t feel any pain at all after they administered the general anesthesia, and I felt as if I was out within just a few seconds. When I woke up in the recovery room and later moved to the waiting area, they even provided food. I returned home pain-free and happy, and I’m really grateful to everyone at the Nottingham Treatment Centre the best team ever.5 star for cleanliness 🫶

I went to the hand fracture clinic on 16/03/2025 with a locked thumb and left 4 hours later with a pack of antibiotics and a diagnosis of a skin infection. This farse started the day before when they called me while looking at my x-ray. I never did an xray!! It turns out that the doctor was looking at an old x-ray to my ankle after a fall last year. After that there were more calls that left me thinking no one knew what to do with me. Back to yesterday, the gate was super busy. Eventually they called a bunch of us to go in and we were told to wait in a very small room. And they kept on bringing more and more people in without anyone leaving after waiting for 1.5 to 2 hours they take me back outside now for the famous x-ray. The x-ray show no fracture which i had said many times it was not broken. I go and see the doctor and without hardly looking at me and for sure no checks for signs of infection the doctor gave me antibiotics and told me I have a skin infection. When I contested his diagnose he become defensive and was not willing to check anything else. These days it looks more like get in get out than any care towards patients. There is very little eye contact and the minute they set eyes on the smallest thing they use it regardless of what the patients are saying. Not once did he even recommended a physiotherapy. I was there for less than 5 or 6 minutes. It's scary to be in there hands. The nurses and staff are the ones than hold it together and if it wasn't for them the place would be a zoo.

Went for a colposcopy today, my appointment was with Sandra Maloney. We had a chat beforehand and I explained how anxious I was, she put my mind at ease and was then gentle and talked me through every step of the procedure as it was happening. Thank The Lord all looked good and she gave me complete peace of mind and reassurance. There were also 3 other medical staff who were so lovely and made sure I was ok and respected my dignity throughout. Can’t thank them all enough for making me feel more at ease when I was so anxious ā¤ļø

Went today for an ultrasound scan on my shoulder. Boy were they busy don’t think I’ve seen so many patients waiting.
Having said that the receptionist was lovely and I was seen within minutes of arriving. A lovely Asian lady helped me as I have difficulty walking, she even offered me a piggyback bless her;made me feel totally at ease. As did the young lady who did the scan. Being treated with kindness and understanding by professionals makes the whole experience far less stressful than I imagined it would be.
Big thank you to all concerned you all deserve the utmost respect for the way you looked after me today.

Took weeks to get an appointment at the shoulder clinic. Appointment for 9:05 to discuss my X-ray Results with a consultant and look at my treatment options. 10am still sat there - Spoke to receptionist who said they get everyone in at 9:00 but don’t start seeing people til 10. Wait times on the board not updated - meanwhile Parking is charged by the minute and they’re in no rush. Wouldn’t really recommend although the building itself is nice it’s like the rest of the NHS slow moving and no organisation

I went to the Hand surgery fracture clinic at the Treatment Centre yesterday. The staff have been fantastic. Professional and caring. It's an extremely busy clinic and they seem greatly understaffed but I was treated with speedy respect and expertise. Each of them were both kind, compassionate and caring. Dr Hanakata, Justine the Physio and the nurses all deserve awards of excellence.
Thank you.
