my appointment was stated in the text message that it was in person and i arrive to be told it’s over the phone and it won’t be at the time i booked for but hours later. later on i recieved a text message while holding my phone saying i missed the telephone appointment when i was never called in the first place. i called the practice and got gaslit over the saying my gp called me when all i recieved was a text message stating i had missed the call and my call history showing no one has called me today.

Very disappointed with the service offered at the centre, I was on the phone since 8.30am and was number 13 in the queue. Patiently waited for 56 minutes only to be cut off when I got to being number 2 in the queue.
I again called and now have been told there at no more appointments!
I have now been offered to call back again tomorrow for an appointment on the day (which I was told by the receptionist that an appointment may not be guaranteed).
Just so frustrating

It took me over 8 years to get a Doctors appointment.
Yes 8 years!!
Every time i tried told no appointments so i would keep trying every few weeks to be told the same thing. Eventually my health became a medical emergency and after finally getting to see a Doctor i was sent to hospital. I now have an enlarged heart partly due to lack of medical care.

You can't get an appointment or get any help if you call they just put the phone down if they can't be bothered if you do get though to them they don't always put your requests in to the doctors the reception staff don't have a clue about what there doing and as for being helpful that's not what they do and rude isn't the word they're just down right rude

Had a good experience overall. The ambience was pleasant, and the staff were friendly and attentive, handling everything with care. It’s important to keep in mind that this is a government service, so while it may not match private expectations, they genuinely do their best within NHS guidelines and resources. All in all, a positive experience given the setting.

I’ve just wasted an hour and 30 mins trying to get through on the phone. The receptionist asked why I didn’t go into the practice instead of waiting on the phone very rudely. Am I sitting around all day? If it wasn’t urgent, I wouldn’t even bother calling this practice as that’s how useless it is. The process has always been to call in for same day appointments which never works out because of how pathetic the process is. When you call, there is the longest message ever from Dr Tinchello before the phone cuts off asking you to call back in a couple of minutes as nobody is free right now; quite honestly, the message needs to be scrapped all together. Really really really pathetic practice and it’s getting more and more pathetic. The reception staff are some of the worst I’ve ever encountered in terms of service and have zero empathy. Always want to argue or make sarcastic comments. I get your job can be stressful but you’re dealing with patients, it’s a sensitive setting. If the practice made their processes more efficient, they wouldn’t have to spend their time on the phones dealing with patient calls and that would maybe help them become less miserable. Maybe they shouldn’t work in a sensitive role? Clearly not people that care about helping others with their attitude. Attaching my call log to show how pathetic this 21st century practice’s process is. But obviously, it’s everyone else’s fault but their own. The practice needs to hire a good Digital Team and get their current processes scrapped and new processes in to match the life we live in now. Half of the calls they receive could easily get triaged (blood tests, vaccinations, jabs, reviews for: medication, blood pressure, contraceptives, asthma etc) using online processes like questionnaires; leaving the phone line more open for emergencies and deteriorating patients. The ICS should really be pushing practices to get their digital processes in place with strict timelines. Its 2024!!!

Just waited 40 minutes in the queue then they cut the call on me, lazy people. Call recorded for proof. Will speak to head of practice, move practices everyone, these people are so unprofessional and receptionists act like Doctors but no nothing at all.

Update:
They are back to their discussing ways of making you waiting in a queue for 40 mins then when you are number 1 they cut the call and make you wait another hour and hope no one in reception cuts it again. Makes the good staff look really bad. The ones who do this deserve to be removed.

They take way too long and sometimes I even faced rudeness from staff. Especially kn calls the amount of time spent in trying booking an appointment is seriously disappointing. I hope they can actually improve one day.
