I joined just before the econsult system came in. Nov 24. Used it in Dec. Submitted Mon am, got call from GP 11am, and appt for 4pm that day, so the system works for me. Had a blood test yesterday for various things, requested a PSA test which was approved without any issues, received a message today to say the GP needs to call me on 12th may to discuss one of the results . I have heard the receptionists be a little short with patients, but I have never had any problems

The only reason I’m giving one star is because one of the doctors actually treated me well ! If it wasn’t for him, I would give ZERO. They take ages to answer to the phone, when answer to the phone, sends you to do an econsult, then You get the consult and they absolutely do nothing… Very disappointing, I’m in so much pain and have to listen to things like “there is a line for cancer and there is a line for you”, what means you have to be dying or have cancer to get treatment fast, otherwise is a waste of time going to the doctors to only get paracetamol and come back home. NHS is just going down and down, awful system, completely old and slow.

Hobble service. My husband had stroke. Can't use app. Sent him around the block. He just came out of hospital. He can't not get appointment. Receptionist refused to make or space to a doctor and as discharge paper. Need more medication

Terrible surgery. Firstly can never get through phone lines, tried to get an appointment online which I was then informed was cancelled, I called and they had no appointments available. They said they would call back and didn’t. I went in to speak to someone to try to get an appointment to which I was rudely shut down and told to go online like the two people in line before me who also left disgruntled and talked down to. I asked at least to check my records and see if there was any mention of being called back, they had assumed I didn’t need it yet. I explained several times I needed my appointment now and had an almost argument about what I needed with the receptionist who was convinced I was wrong about my own body. They are rude and unhelpful. Simple as that.

I have only needed the surgery in a couple of occasions, every time staff have been professional and compassionate. I have felt supported and welcome all along.

This surgery should be burnt to the ground!!
I never had so a bad experience anywhere.
At least 45min to 1 hour on the phone every time. They never had an appointment in the current week. Plexiglass in a reception like in a jail. Unhelpfully and rude staff!
Just don't go there otherwise you will lose your mental health after you spend a few minutes in this building.

Booking an appointment here can only be done on the day by phone for the same day two weeks in advance (I have yet to visit the surgery when it opens to attempt this - they are usually very good with same day appointments).

Regardless of any attempt, by phone, there are only a limited number of appointments available on the future date. As such, if you've called at 08:30, when the lines open and your in a queue of 35+ callers, the opportunity to get an appointment is slim, if at all.

I appreciate that the surgery are doing the best they can, given that locally, existing facilities are limited, the population is ever increasing and wider practices close placing more demand on those existing.

I've given three stars as I believe that the actual healthcare service is good here, however, the process for those looking to get care is somewhat difficult and frustrating.

The irony is, would it be any better elsewhere in Trowbridge, probably not.

Having moved from Sussex to Wiltshire and signing up with this practise. I regret moving house. It would be quicker and easier to get an appointment there and travel then try to get one with this surgery. Every day for the last month I have rang to try and get an appointment regarding my repeat medication. The only time I have been able to get through there are no appointments left and I am told to try again tomorrow. It’s a really sorry state of affairs. If anyone has any recommendations of other practises near to this one I would welcome the recommendation/advice.
