Today I phoned my Mum's room (I love that they have in room landline phones). Someone else answered and said Mum was in an exercise activity and could I ring back in about an hour. I was very pleasantly surprised by this miracle! Mum has only been with Longbridge Deverill for 1.5 months and in that time she spent several weeks being nursed back from 'End of Life' status and now here she is heading off to exercise class! While that seems miraculous in itself, what is more amazing about this, is that Mum can get quite anxious about things and has never really taken to group activities before, so the team at Longbridge Deverill have clearly made her feel relaxed. I phoned her back again a bit later and Mum sounded the best I've heard her in years. She is definitely in fabulously caring hands. On top of this, when she was 'end of life' the team went out of their way to not only support her, but me too and allowed me to stay for several days, so I could be close to Mum. It really took a weight off my shoulders and clearly helped Mum too. Thank you to all the amazing team here.

I joined Longbridge Deverill Nursing Home in May 2023. The working environment is very pleasant and wonderful. Management and staff members are really helpful and supportive and always work as a team to provide good quality care to the residents. Provide as a homely environment to the residents and prioritise their needs on the top.

I joined the team working at Longbridge Deverill Nursing Home in September 2022. From the very beginning I've been given great support from the management and also unit leads.
The residents are our priority focus. They recieve fantastic care, encouraged to take part in activities of their interests and supported with all personal and emotional needs.
The residents families are hugely grateful for the care we give their loved ones and are made extremely welcome while visiting.
It is very rewarding working here and would encourage others to look into caring here.

As an Anna Chaplain I visit Longbridge Deverill care home every week and conduct a church service once a month. I find all the staff very welcoming and there is generally a happy atmosphere. The residents appear well cared for and settled. I am really impressed by the activities team who provide a wide range of topics and interests for the residents to enjoy and interact with. The managers Ben and Maria are approachable and take an interest in the wellbeing of those in their care

What an incredible place to work. I have worked within the health and social care industry for over ten years, in various settings and positions, and I can honestly say i have never worked somewhere that focuses on the residents happiness as much as LDNH. Everything the staff do is always in the interest of the residents they care for and they do so with respect, dignity and compassion. This mentality can be seen within all departments of the home including housekeeping, maintenance, healthcare, catering, admin, the activities team and management. I feel exceptionally fortunate to be given the opportunity to work in a setting that cares so much about the welfare and happiness of its residents. It really is lovely to be a part of the LDNH family and I intend to stay for a long time.
