I think i am right to post this on Google as Postscript 360 is not widely known about so i imagine that more exposure will help more people find the help they need.
I only found out about them by paying for a private consultation with a psychiatrist which was expensive but vital in that I found out about this life changing service / charity.
I had been on Lorazepam for four years and I knew that having to take it four times a day was keeping me from being myself and just masking my anxiety.
As soon as I contacted PS360 I was put at ease by their listening and understanding of the specifics of Benzo dependency.
They assessed me and gave me a tailored taper that would take 10 months to complete. They would be there throughout that time and beyond. One to one phone calls every week and support as required if the journey hits any bumps in the road. Sometimes there were physical, psychological or mental withdrawal symptoms, but the support they give explains the reasoning for these so you can take things in your stride and feel assured that they will eventually pass.
As you get further along the taper the withdrawal symptoms seemed to get easier and shorter.
I know that there is more need than ever to get help with Benzo addiction so I feel duty bound to spread the word about this unique charity. They are the experts and you will need their understanding and guidance if you want to minimise the difficulty of withdrawal. They are so kind.
