Would give zero stars if I could.
My partner had to go in for an abscess / infection check. Booked in an extraction a couple of days later to let antibiotics kick in. Explained she had low platelet levels. I'd taken her in earlier due to here fear of dentists. She was called back in less than 2 hours later (after I'd gone to work) & suffered 12 injections & damage to an adjacent tooth to get the 2 rotten teeth out. She even felt as though tools were being placed on her, just below her breasts during the procedure which is extremely inappropriate. No one asked how she was getting home as she was so shaken & I wasn't there this time. They barely checked in with her right after finishing the procedure. They were more concerned with the computer system, cleaning tools used & escorting to the reception to get payment. She rang 3 1/2 hours later as bleeding still hadn't stopped. Left voicemail at 4.30pm as no one answered. No return call came before they closed. And no return call even by midday the following day. I am absolutely horrified and disgusted at their treatment of her. We will be going back only to get stitches removed, then we will take our business elsewhere! Avoid at all costs!!!

Cannot recommend highly enough. A phobia of dental procedures had stopped me from going to a dentist before, I hadn’t been in at least 20 years, and was absolutely dreading my appointment. Dr Singh was so lovely and patient, explained everything really carefully and was so empathetic. I went to two appointments (for three filings in total and a clean) and it was all fine, totally painless. Dentist was so careful and attentive all through the procedure, constantly checking if I was feeling ok. Completely put my mind at ease and helped me to overcome my anxiety! All round fantastic service, professional, friendly and caring.

I am very nervous of dentists and had not visited the dentist in years due to this. The dental nurses and dentist at the Blandford practice are very calming and patient. The dentist put my mind at ease and explained everything to me so that I could understand. The prices are fair and there are repayment options available that take the concern of being able to afford treatment away. I would highly recommend this dental practice and have lost alot of my fear of going to the dentist!

Needed a emergency dental appointment today due to pain and had to have extaction.
What a wonderful service, dentist very kind and gentle, did not know he had taken it out. Sat here tonight no pain. Lovely friendly receptionist and nurse. Thank you

I went when it was called Gentle Dental - and the irony of the name was not lost on me. Root canal done where the root was not numbed as I was told "I needed to feel it so I could say with confidence there was no nerve left". The procedure failed and a second appointment was needed where the tooth was pulled. I have had a few teeth out due to braces in my teens and wisdom teeth needing removing so was not nervous. However this was the most painful experience and the area had not been numbed properly. Was told it was the pressure from pulling the tooth but it most definitely wasn't. The tooth next to it was used to leaver the pulled tooth out which actually broke that tooth too.

I got out of there an went to an emergency dentist when I could to fix the problem caused by the dentists at the time. Could never go back even though the dentist has changed.

This is a very friendly and considerate dental practice. The Receptionist and Dental Nurse are lovely and welcoming and Dr Abhishek is great and very considerate. I am very happy with all the work done so far and have no hesitation in recommending this surgery to anyone and in particular any nervous patients as they would have nothing to fear at this surgery!

I can’t recommend this dental practice enough. As a very scared patient in a lot of pain, the team has been nothing but kind and patient. I feel a bit more
relaxed each time I visit and if I need help with my dodgy teeth, fitting me in is never a problem. Thanks
