So disappointed today. I really don't like giving negative reviews but feel I do need to leave a review after my experience today.
My nearly 91 year old Mother had a fall backwards in her garden on Friday. She was reviewed in A/E and had superb care from everyone there. She was thoroughly checked over and discharged as her head CT scan was ok.

Since it happened she has been extremely fragile, a little bit more breathless and terribly achy, I presume from the fall.

She had a routine blood test booked for this morning with Chrissy ( who was wonderful with mum as always). However I had phoned the surgery in advance asking if a GP could just check Mum over today even if it was more for reassurance. I was informed there were no appointments and if worried call again tomorrow first thing or call 111 or take her to A/E. I did press the point that she's nearly 91 years old and surely someone could see her but no..no appointments.
I work for a GP surgery and we always have on the day emergency/ urgent appointments for just this sort of thing and can't understand why BHC can't do the same

Anyway, she has now been registered as a temp resident where I work and will be reviewed by one of my GP's. I appreciate we are in a more privileged position than most to do this.

It really does worry me that it is so very difficult to get an appointment. Mum has been registered at BHC for many years and rarely( luckily) needs to see a GP but I'm so disappointed in the service I received today I felt it necessary to give this review.

I will be leaving the surgery and looking for a new one. I have been with Burnham health centre since 2012, in the last 4 to 5 years they have gone massive down hill!

I have been trying to get one appointment for the last four almost five months now. I went into see reception the other day who said they couldn’t help me but I should call in at 8am the following day and someone can help me then. I left in tears again having to explain to my employer that couldn’t get an appointment again!! I called the surgery the next day at 8 only to be told they have no appointments and can’t help me, I explained how long I had been trying to get an appointment and that I would lose my job if I didn’t get this sorted and that it is heavily affecting my mental health. Again I got nowhere and broke down in tears. It’s now got to the point I’m battling suicidal thoughts on a daily basis not being able to get my health addressed has in turn lead to me loosing my job, having to leave my rented accommodation and one of these days will probably cost me my life.

Moved to the area recently, signed up online, fast and easy. Appointment booking is online and efficient, phoned me an hour later to offer an appointment that day or a phone call. Took the phone call, doctor called and was helpful, interested and didn't feel rushed.. Which I'm sure they are! Great first impression after the fear of these reviews.

Cannot fault my recent experience with Burnham Health Centre. Dr Mohinadeen has gone above and beyond in my dealings with him. The service has been super speedy from the time of being appointment, to further appointments and follow ups. Receptionist staff have been so helpful and efficient when dealing with my queries. It has been very refreshing!

Used tobe a great one .but can never get an appointment know
Used tobe a great doctors practice but know ?

Has tobe done on line dispite having trouble trying to get connected to them via there stupid online system
I'm still waiting for a call back from a doctor

The triage I find to personal as they are only receptionist and i feel NOT medical trained enough to play doctors nurses and
god
They are not university trained in medical
I'm not happy sharing my personal information with receptionist
And them having access to my personal files which breaches private and confidential information

No wonder people are sick to death of it

Saw a lovely Dr (Dr Hannah Symcox I think) this morning who was very supportive and helpful. I have also been a patient of Dr Rajsingh who is absolutely wonderful! I have always found the reception staff friendly and helpful. Thank you to all at the practice, very grateful for the care you give.

I have excellent service here. I have to be honest I had trepidation in using the new Triage system, but worked excellently, response within 2 hours that doctor would. When she did discussed my case, arranged an appointment to see her the same day and was in and out within 15 mins. Thank you
