I would like to send a massive thankyou to Nigel & The team at Nigel Newtons dental care. Without this practice I would have been in serious trouble in days to come having failed to get NHS help and already finishing 5 days of amoxicillin and onto my 2nd week of new antibiotics. I had this pain for 4 weeks with a 2-3 months waiting list with the NHS had to go private to get help.

Even then, there were very few dentists that would help me with my lower left 7 Molar tooth. Nigel seemed confident and his experience was demonstrated here. What a lovely guy! Nigel offered to repair but i was worried about the infection so that was my choice to do the extraction. This was due to an infection that I was trying to manage but the complexity of the tooth position next to a wisdom tooth meant very few dentists would help and simply didnt have the experience. I wouldn't have been able to wait for the NHS dental hospital to help me because by then I would have been really unwell and I just couldn't bare the pain anymore.

I am immensely grateful to Nigel & the Team at this practice 🙏 Thankyou so much, I feel you have potentially saved me from the infection spreading and causing sepsis or worse.

I haven’t been to the dentist for many years due to my phobia. However I had to pay a visit due to problems that started at the beginning of the year. My whole experience was made so much better by Nigel and his team, from the lovely receptionist to the kind and understanding dental nurse. Nigel was also very understanding and did a wonderful job on years of neglect (he must have been absolutely dismayed) and my clean up and extraction went totally smoothly despite my fears.
I have a plan now going forwards to sort out the rest of my problems and look forward to hearing Nigel humming along to the radio again!

Such a amazing, family feeling practice. So down to earth and welcoming from the offset. Very understanding and what a amazing Dentist Nigel is too. I have been to many Dentist's in Weston but this practice is by far my favourite based on all the above reasons but mainly because of how at ease they make my little girl feel. A very easy 5 stars to you and also a huge thank you for taking my daughter on.

I want to share my experience of visiting Nigel Newton's dental care after reading the mixed reviews on here.

Almost a week ago I got pains in my tooth which eventually spread into my face and made eating and sleeping extremely painful. As the tooth that was causing the issue was an infected root canal tooth my NHS dentist were not sure on the best way forward.

I contacted Nigel Newton's dental care and they squeezed me in very last minute. I was offered 2 different treatment options and it was all extememely straight forward. As the pain was unbearable and I didn't want to risk the tooth becoming re-infected Nigel Newton extracted it for me this morning.

I plan to have an implant fitted and right now I'm recovering and feel absolutely fine. I was fairly nervous as I'd never had a tooth removed and Nigel was quick and efficient. He was friendly and helpful throughout the entire process and the reception staff were also extremely lovely. The dental nurse also comforted me as it was removed and all in all absolutely every member of staff in there was phenomenal.

I'm excited to be pain free and I massively appreciate them seeing me on an emergency basis. Everywhere else I contacted had a waiting list of a minimum of a month. I couldn't eat or sleep and don't know what I would have done if I hadn't found this place.

I had a raging tooth ache. My usual dentist couldn’t see me but Nigel and his team fitted me into their busy morning. The staff were so friendly and kind. I’m normally extremely nervous but Nigel put me at ease and listened carefully to my symptoms. Nigel was very professional and has a great wealth of knowledge. I’m very grateful he solved my problem there and then. I will be returning and recommending in the future! Thanks again Nigel!

I have an actual dentist phobia (which explains the poor state of my mouth) and Nigel N. has a magic hand when it comes to applying anesthesia and tooth extraction. I did not suffer after the numb sensation wore off. He knew I was anxious and avoided to make a fuss as it woukd have made the process longer and ever more painful for me. The whole thing took under 15 minutes and I was so relieved. People complaining about him not being too warm need to realise it is a dental practice, not a tea room. I was not given the time to give up to my phobia and the job was done, and I am so grateful for that. It is pricey, and so are all the others.

After many years of having a real fear of the dentist I think I can honestly say my faith has been restored. I have had extensive work done and never once needed to question the professionalism or the costings of the work carried out. Friendly staff.... Yes that includes Nigel Newton unless he's received a personality transplant since the last review posted or I've found another Nigel Newton I can't relate to the negative comments!! Always professional and welcoming.
Keep the good work up 😊 and I will be returning and recommending.

I went to see Nigel Newton very recently. First of all the receptionist and dental nurse were really nice. And they fitted me in quickly.

However, I didn’t really rate Mr Newton’s bedside manner. I found him quite cold and unfriendly, and for my first visit, where dentists are normally warm and welcoming he definitely failed. I also thought the prices were a bit hit and miss, for example, the X-ray was priced just for one side, yet, normally I’ve had a price for the whole, so I felt that was a bit deceptive.
