I’ve been training with Pete at Millers Martial arts on and off for a number of years. From the moment I walked in, I was welcomed with open arms by Pete. The atmosphere is warm, friendly, and inclusive, making it easy to feel comfortable whether you're a beginner or an experienced martial artist. Pete is incredibly knowledgeable and professional, always taking the time to explain techniques clearly while also providing individual guidance. He is genuinely passionate about teaching and makes every class both fun and educational. Millers martial arts not only focuses on building strong martial artists but also provides a supportive and encouraging community. If you are in two minds about joining, come down and experience just how good it is!

I brought my daughter to Millers Martial Arts Academy after hearing other parents talking so highly about Peter’s children’s classes. He is so good with the children and keeps the classes fun and active. He is very clear and focuses on good manners, respect, kindness and discipline. I was very surprised and appreciate his price of £40 a month for 2 classes per week. I have found this to be very reasonable compared to other clubs in the area. It was also nice that he allows parents to watch the classes. There are plenty of parking spaces which is great. He has children’s classes on a Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. They start at 5pm every day. I highly recommend his classes.

I initially met Pete when looking for a martial arts coach for my son George and was extremely grateful to find someone with his experience and knowledge in Weston-super-Mare. George has been training with Pete for a couple of years now and his development, skills and growth as a young person has been remarkable. I was recommended to have a chat with Pete Miller after a mutual friend (also my gardener!) advised he was the way to go for all things MMA. After an initial discussion I signed up for 121 striking training and will move to some Filipino work and grappling as I progress through the striking fundamentals. Pete is very friendly and easy to work with, and makes sure I am pushed each and every session, describing and explaining the hows and the whys as we go. This has been the best thing for me physically and mentally, and I aim to continue for as long as I can. Also, Pete is an 80s child like myself, so we get to talk nonsense about Van Damme, Karate Kid and all things cheesy martial arts movie-wise! Thanks Pete.
