Fantastic doctors practice. Always dealt with quickly and taken seriously. I had a lovely member of staff called Samann take my bloods when I went in last week and she couldn't have made me feel anymore comfortable. Thank you for the fantastic service

Elm Tree Medical centre has been the first and only doctors that I have used since moving to the area ten years ago, but I haven’t got a bad word to say about it. Staff have persistently shown care about my needs and show a great deal of knowledge and sensitivity. I have never struggled to make an appointment and am often surprised at the lengths that the staff will go to, in order to ensure that my needs are met. Every nurse and doctor who I have met with has been outstanding, but just want to particularly mention Michelle who has been a constant during an ongoing health issue that I have faced and has been incredibly supportive in helping me find a solution. Thank you.

Unfortunately, I recently had a disappointing experience with the reception team. I needed to request a repeat prescription for ongoing medication and called the practice to arrange it. I was informed that requests could only be made either in person or online. At the time, I was too unwell to physically visit the surgery, so I attempted to place the request via the NHS website as advised. However, the request did not go through.

I called back to explain the situation and ask for an alternative solution. Regrettably, the receptionist said there was nothing she could do other than resend a link—which I have yet to receive. During this call, she ended the call abruptly while I was still speaking, which I found quite disheartening.

As a result, I had no choice but to push myself, despite being unwell, to attend the practice in person.

This experience was particularly disheartening as I had recently completed the GP survey with very positive feedback about the care and service provided. This incident has made me question whether patient care and support are truly valued at the surgery.

I've recently moved to Elm Tree practice after being consistently fobbed off at another local practice, and just had an appointment with Michelle. I honestly felt like I could cry I was so happy to finally be heard and taken seriously. Michelle was very thorough and friendly and really listened to my concerns, she made a referral for me and explained what would happen and the next steps. The service was fantastic and I also received great service when making the appointment. Really impressed with this practice so far and I'm very glad that I moved doctors to this one. Thanks so much to Michelle for being so fantastic and friendly.

I can’t praise this surgery enough. From the moment you walk in, the receptionists greet you with warmth and professionalism, making you feel instantly at ease. The phlebotomist is equally fantastic—gentle, efficient, and always friendly. Every doctor I’ve seen has been incredibly helpful, approachable, and truly invested in patient care. It's clear the whole team genuinely cares about their patients, and it shows in every interaction. I’m so glad I changed from Woodbridge Practice. A truly outstanding practice!
