I have been putting off leaving a review of a while but Im sick of the poor service from the doctors. I’ve spoke to a couple of the doctors and I can only ever recall one who seemed to care about my problems. This time last year I had a terrible experience with the doctors as their communications skills are shocking. I haven’t been back since. Unfortunately I had to call them up due to my condition and to my surprise once again I’m left waiting around. Last week I had a doctors phone call over the phone as there were no face to face appointment like always. The doctors told me that my prescription would be available to pick up after the call in the afternoon. Ive gone today to go and collect my prescription and she hasn’t issued it to the pharmacy. It’s been a week. I will be leaving these doctors there service and communication skills are very poor which is such a shame

Not fit for purpose and should be closed immediately,and all staff sent to Mars,zero responsibility and accountability.What I find on my shoe would be more interesting than this tin can outfit.

As a family we have been with this GP surgery for around 4 years unfortunately we have definitely been more than average users due to multiple illnesses between us all. I can honestly say I’ve never had a bad experience. Sometimes the wait time to answer the phone is longer than I would like but they always do answer. The receptionists are always friendly and do what they can in what must be an extremely challenging role. Triage have always called back in a timely manner and given good advice or offered a same day appointment when it’s been needed. The wait for routine appointments can be a bit long but routine appointments have always been really thorough and addressed the presenting need.I have also used the online form and had a quick response. As well as the nurses and drs I have also had telephone appointments with the pharmacist which have been helpful. Just an example which is not unfamiliar to me, recently I phoned the surgery, I was number 3 in the queue, took around 5 minutes to get through, I requested a call back from the triage nurse for some advice about an illness for my child, triage called within an hour and a face to face appointment was made for the same day. I am baffled by some other reviews I have seen as it couldn’t be further from my many experiences. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend the surgery. ! Thank you to all the staff that work there 🙂

Absolutely the worst GP Practice I've had to deal with. Both the clinical & admin staff appear incompetent; they cannot deal with letters from other clinicians requesting information, or Consultants suggesting alternative medication which are ignored. At my age & profession, I have travelled nationally & switched GPs due to relocating to different places, but I've never before come across any GP Practice as bad as this. They should be reported to the NHS & CQC.

They used to be the best Doctors in town but these days things have gone down hill. Yesterday (29/07/2024) I nipped in to book a doctor's appointment. Told no appointments until SEPTEMBER!!! Useless 😞

Rude receptionists!

It's a shame that these reviews are not being listened to as there seems to be a running theme.

Visited today after receiving an email that I needed to go in as I asked for a letter from the GP... £40 I had to pay!!!! For it to be done with a turn around time of 21 days!!!!! I came in to pay due to having no other choice and the receptionist was extremely rude and unhelpful and I ended up leaving. It was as if I interupted their personal conversation/time. I didn't get a hello it was just what are you doing here what do you want and proceeded to look uninterested in anything I had to say.

Getting an appointment is also a nightmare, I have to wait till 6th July after finding what looks to be a clot in one of my legs and even when I do get an appointment the drs treat me as if I am 12 and make me feel stupid.

Right! Surgery is old an dated, awful area, the staff we're mostly rude apart from 2 receptionist. I had a female doctor who was incredibly snobby, gave me sarcasm concerning an embarrassing problem I had, said i should go sex clinic for it as she assumed it ws sexual, weird as at that point i hadn't had sex for 4 yrs (recovery, being sensible as relationships an recovery don't mix straight away) anway gave me cream in the end for issue as not sexual. One male doctor was actually caring an didn't judge me on drug past, they shouldn't discriminate as ex user's an user's can have issues. Sadly all the judgement makes me Google symptoms long b4 ringing doctor's, if it's controlled drug for treatment I don't ring them, have to be your own doctor now an I'm sorry, I know me better than anyone who has read a book for 8ish yrs, they sit for 2 mins with me an they know everything about me as they look on record ( discrimination) Did you know doctor's are all so brainy an so good at job you get miss diagnosed 3/4 time's b4 they find actual problem. Ws yrs back but they ain't changed as friend still uses them. Had some new followers on reviews so thought I'd carry on, thanks viewers 👍

Was promised an afternoon phone call appointment. Waited all afternoon, and into the evening, and come closing time still no call. absolutely disgraceful, how can you book someone in for an appointment and then not give it to them?
