I work here in the office at Home Instead as the receptionist and Marketing Coordinator and I can honestly say I have found a long term job for me. After working at many different businesses marketing and admin work. The office is so friendly, everyone feels like family and are so genuine. The business goes above and beyond to ensure you’re happy and are number one. We are constantly creating events for the elders and working with the community to ensure seniors aren’t forgotten about and are a priority to us. Not only this we are always looking after our caregivers and remembering all the little details and going the extra mile. I love the job I do and couldn’t ask for anything better and I can’t wait for my journey with home instead.

We needed to arrange for my father following discharge from hospital. He would have to self fund. Original carers were sourced via social services and were kind but under huge tine constraints and weren’t supporting dad. Via his cleaner we heard of home instead and contacted them. Their services come at a premium but you do get what you pay for. They spend the full time with dad and encourage him to eat drink and take his tablets . They engage with him and undertake cleaning and laundry duties as well as sitting and chatting with him. He has recovered a lot of his strength in the last few weeks . My dad doesn’t want to go into a home and this is a viable alternative. Dad has a dedicated team of carers that cover his 3 daily visits so they get to know him and his likes. I’ve met all of them and they are all very personable. I have also had progress meetings with Jade the General Manager who is keen to ensure that they deliver on their promises which to date they do.

I have worked in the care industry for 6 years in both homes and the community. I came to work for Home Instead Charnwood in may 2019 as field care supervisor and it is a fantastic place to work. Everyone of us has the same ethos and we are one big caring team. The CAREGivers are outstanding and truly care for each and everyone of their clients.
