Well, after reading most of the reviews, I think it's safe to say I will not be joining this surgery even if it is closest to my home!

Receptionists here are disgracefully rude and patronising. If you're presenting these people as your front of house staff, you can't be too bothered about your overall care. For a GP surgery, it's utterly shameful. I've served customers in retail and education for over 10 years and these individuals are in need of some serious re-training or, better yet, dumping at the front door of their nearest Jobcentre. There's plenty of people out there looking for work who would be better than the lady my partner spoke to today.

Been here my whole life and now if I could give this place a 0 star I would do. It's unbelievable how it's still open! The receptionists (M & N in particular), are in desperate need of training because their people skills are *dangerously* bad! Save yourself and don't go here. I can't describe how rude reception staff are (bar one young girl who is very sweet), shut it down or get new staff.

The woman Doctor Khan is probably one of the most rudest people I’ve ever encountered. She called me regarding a medication I didn’t really feel comfortable taking due to personal reasons and instead of letting me explain said reasons over the phone she just screams over you and doesn’t let you get a word in. I’ve also had a normal face-to-face consultations with her and she’s very dismissive and talks quite fast, so if you were to ask her to repeat what she said she gets worked up and snaps at you for not understanding the first time. There’s also a major lack of listening so you can’t get your problem accross as she won’t let you speak. She’s been rude to my parents who are also patients at Clayton Health Centre and have been for many years. I’m a very easygoing polite person and also quite shy, so being spoken to like that by anybody, especially a healthcare professional always takes me aback and makes me want to switch surgeries.

If I honestly can give a 0 star I would I am absolutely and beyond disgusted with the service that they provided. The front reception people are absolutely horrible especially this one particular man he is beyond rude. I called in at 8 on a Tuesday, after how many calls they finally picked up and told me that I need to call the actual GP instead of my doctor and so I did. On Wednesday I called 67 TIMES!!! and on the 68th time that i called they picked up. I was talking to a man and he was absolutely shocking, the way he talks, his tone it was just mortifying then when I was telling him an issue that I had, he proceeds to hang up on me AFTER I had sat there and called for 67th times then I called in again and they hanged up the phone. So I called my doctors phone and they tell me to call In the next day!! What does a person have to do to get a proper treatment or the respect they deserve. I am never rude when I call I speak with manners and I had never had an issue with anyone. But these people are just beyond ridiculous. Which is why I’m going to change my GP and honestly I advise you to do the same if you want to be treated with respect.

It’s very difficult to book an appointment, at The Clayton Health Center , as their telephone lines are always busy ! However if you walk in there they wouldn’t even book you, an emergency appointment either . However some of the staffs are nice and helpful.
But the receptionists are rude !

Rang for 4 days straight for an emergency appointment.. morning and afternoon.. after day 4 the call was answered at 1:33pm.. The receptionist told me all appointments had gone. I said I really need to see a doctor I'm a vulnerable patient. She asked me what the emergency was to which I said that's confidentiality between me and my GP. her attitude became disgusting and she told me "if you are that sick go to a walk in centre'. In a really nasty manner.
I told her her attitude is disgusting and I'm going to be making a complaint.
3 days later I received a letter asking ME to sign the violent patient form if I wish to remain at the surgery..
This has resulted in massive anxiety and I've left myself without medical care as a result
