The last couple of years have been difficult for everyone but when you’ve been diagnosed with a life limited disease it’s even harder. The group organised a monthly meeting on zoom with updates and talks from people with specific knowledge of lung diseases and Covid. Also realising that interaction with the outside world was equally important so a monthly zoom with just chat, banter and quiz was set up between the normal meetings. Also excise was needed for the members health a weekly zoom was set up with exercises with the help of age concern UK Bolton. Recently this has now become a face to face meeting at Bolton hospice. Many of our members had been house bound for two years and just being with people helped their mentality along with their physical needs. Strongly recommend the group.

The Bolton Pulmonary Fibrosis Support Group really helped my dad when he was diagnosed with Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis a few years ago. Being able to talk to others and learn about the latest research is invaluable to those who have been diagnosed. Massive thanks to Steve and everyone who attends the meetings!
