Can't book appointments online, E-consult is full after a few minutes of opening, takes on average 70+ calls to get through in a morning and if you do manage to actually speak to reception- there likely isn't any appointments left.
When my son had an allergic reaction, they wouldn't see us. 111 pushed through an emergency appointment and wanted him checked within 2 hours, they still wouldn't see us and sent us to a pharmacy instead... much to even the pharmacists disbelief!
My partner was also left without pain medication, 3 days post op from major knee surgery, because they didn't process his prescription.
From taking in his paperwork and it being confirmed to me that the prescription would be put through immediately- it took 6 calls to Lister House (not counting the endless ringing to get through), 2 Calls to 111, a trip to urgent care, 3 trips to the pharmacy and my MIL going in to complain, just to get a doctor to sign his prescription... by which time my partner was left in total agony for over a day. Disgusting treatment.

I've been with this GP for six months and I can honestly say the service is pretty awful. You're directed by the website to fill in an online form, but when trying to complete it, it redirects you to an admin form that isn't for medical problems, so you cannot use the website to request help. When you call them, it always gives you an auto-message that states "they've had a high volume of calls, they have no capacity", so you cannot use the phone to request help. So what is the purpose of this GP then, if you cannot request help via verbal or written means?

Normally really good but recently it's getting ridiculously difficult to get a appointment, called up last night after my brother had blacked out on his way home from college which has been happening on and off for a few years now, wanting to get him looked out to see if its something serious but they cannot prebook which seems stupid, so my brother called them the second the lines opened this morning and by the time he got through all appointments were booked, i respect it's not the call handlers fault but something needs to change.

Have been ringing for the past 3 weeks to try and get an appointment but no luck, it's very rare you get through to a call handler anyway but your then told to try again later and the call cuts out . Then advised to use the e consult which 9 out of 10 times states ' your practice isn't excepting anymore econsults ' . I finally managed to fill out an econsult which advised to go to the walk in centre which is a complete waste of time as they advise you to see your GP... even I know my problem isn't an emergency to use the walk in centre but simply need too see a GP at my own practice .

By phoning very early (8-00 AM) I had no trouble in arranging an appointment to see a Doctor on the same day. The Doctor whom I saw could not have been more personable and understanding. My only negative, and very minor, comment is that I had to wait about 30 minutes beyond my appointment time to see the Doctor. However I see this as an indication that the Doctor wasn't rushing herself in seeing other patients, which is commendable given the pressure Doctors are currently under.

Sort it out!! Took me two whole weeks to get through to the surgery to make an appointment in the end I went through the medicines clerk! Calling at 8am when it opens does not work, line is constantly engaged and when you do get through you get an automated bot that says sorry we have too many calls at the moment try again later! all the lister house surgeries are linked to this number and you can never get through! Avoid at all costs I wish we had!

Unable to get an appointment.
Phone system now now shuts down when appointments are full
Econsult now is only available during office hours.
They have now removed the email address from the website.
So they have virtually blocked all contact with patients.
When making a formal complaint the usual excuses are given ie: we are very busy etc etc.
If you are so busy the expand your surgery and employ more staff like any other organisation and stop giving excuses.

I fully appreciate it's incredibly difficult to get through to speak to a call handler, it took me 68 phone calls to get through this morning, and I know it's even more difficult to get an appointment. However, I don't think it's the Practice staff at Lister House's fault, as the NHS is on it's knees! I understand that the Practice is struggling with the resources they have, which are aleady stretched beyond capicity. I've had the odd bad experience at Lister House, but any issues I've had have been dealt with promptly and mostly rectified. I realise that staff are people too and nobody's perfect. Most call handlers and Practice staff members are polite and professional. My former doctor at another Practice took me off medications cold turkey which led to me sustaining an iatrogenic brain injury and akathisia which is a horrific movement disorder that causes the sufferer to endure overwhelming terror when it's severe! I was in a terrible state when I came to this Practice and the medical professionals at Lister House have supported me over the last 6 and ½ years and helped to their extent of their abilities as GPs, mainly in referrals to specialists in Neurology. Thank you.
