As part of my counselling course, I saw Mark as a counsellor from this service on an on and off basis for four years.
I found it very helpful to have someone who could act as a point of reference to the profession they inhabited and the one I was looking to inhabit.
We had a good working relationship, and I felt confident enough to refer an ex client of mine onto this person for couples counselling.
The price was very affordable (as I was a student when my therapy began) and I felt happy continuing with this therapist after my studies were completed

Do not recommend at all. Only given one start because you can't give none. We seaked couples therapy as a positive pre wedding communication exercise, our therapist doesn't believe in fairness, she doesn't believe if one person is telling their version of events that the other person should be able to tell there's up to the same point. She completly favoured my fiancé and disregarded anything I said or was feeling in every session. She would often twist my words in my fiancé's favour, tell me I was talking to much whenever I did get given the chance to speak and in our second session when re capping over the previous session said " I don't know why you felt the need to tell me that" as I was franticly trying to get my version of events out, as she wasnt given me the opportunity or space to speak, which she of course now denys and try to make me believe I was making it up. Our therapist is not a safe therapist and does not create a safe environment for both parties of the couple. I will also be looking into reporting the therapist. This has all caused massive problems in our relationship, what was a fairly healthy relationship with a 9 month old baby in the middle has now been impacted in the most awful way. Stay well clear.

The lady took our money but was very irregular and unreliable in her service and refused to refund or action the appointments as they should have been scheduled. The edmr should have been one session a week for 6 weeks but she saw us once then wouldn't see us for several weeks then saw us again and then had a good few weeks break and then saw us s third time , so the therapy was totally ineffective and a absolute waste of time and money. I requested at least a part refund but was refused. Disgusting service.

I've checked the pictures and you have definitely done the edmr on my family member I paid , celia parks is the email. He visited upstairs. I requested at least a partial refund for the therapist not doing the full job. Disgusting to try and blame another therapist

I have been seeing Ceila for a number of years. I have enjoyed working with her but my sessions have now come to an end and I feel ready for this. She is helpful, non-judgemental and helps you to be solution focused when issues arise. She has helped me no end. She has shown compassion and kindness. I have had no issues in contact and communication has always been great. I would highly recommend.

Reached out through Bark and received no response. I reached out again through email and this also did not receive any response after a week. It can be really scary to ask for help when you're struggling mentally and I think to just ignore potential clients who need help is incredibly unprofessional. It can be the tipping point for some people. Definitely consider going elsewhere.
