I also don’t get this place the worst thing that’s ever happened in my life is this place? I waited for 4 to 5 hours only to be told my treatment should not be treated in here. I need to go somewhere else and declined to treat me. Only because she didn’t give me the chance to talk only if she realised I was vomiting this morning with blood only if she let me talk only if she would just shut up Only if she knew how to speak to me or others in a nice minor only only only But no, we just had a Doctor Who thought they were clever, smart and turned all the intelligence into ignorance.
I did not wait for five hours to be treated like a two-year-old and then be told I cannot treat you here for your symptoms which any logical doctor would’ve waited until I described what my symptoms were then went off on a tantrum, Next time I rather vomit my heart out rather than having to visit this place again in fact if I cut off my left leg, I would still not visit this place that probably still make you wait 4 to 5 hours crazy.
The funny thing is when I complained on the way out, they asked me to Leave🤪
What a joke. Never again. I rather pay for private medical care and actually get care.
Oh and id love to sue you for back ache as sitting for 5 hours with no water was dreadful. Yes even the water was unavailable. Please please do not waste your time

I don't understand the negative reviews on some posts. I came on a busy Saturday morning, was triaged relatively quickly and given an appointment to attend to see a health care professional. Wait times were averaging three hours, but much better than main A & E. Staff are polite, professional and working under very strained conditions. Waiting area was very busy, but to be expected.

I visited the urgent care for the first time for my 5 year old today, the facility is clean and all the staff is super kind and attentive. It's close to Christmas and everyone is still working so hard. Dr Green was the doctor who helped my daughter, he was so friendly and kind. He spent time explaining everything to me so I understand why my daughter has been vomiting and has the temperature, also was so kind to my daughter and gave her a toy, as she dropped her toy in the toilet earlier and was upset about it. Thank you so much for Dr Green and everyone working there

I don't care what anyone else says this place is superb! Yes I had to call 111 in the night and wait until the afternoon for an appointment but after completing the on screen system (yes it's long winded) I grabbed a great coffee from the cafe and was seen to and sorted straight away. The staff here really care and just react to the flood of people attending here with compassion and care working on a busy Saturday night. Proud of our NHS 👍😍✌️

In a world where everyone is complaining about our health care system I have to leave a review.
Yesterday I called 111 for my son, they told me to go to Loughborough urgent care centre within the hour. I arrived after 30 mins to be told no appointment and I had to book in on the screens. When I tell you the waiting area was PACKED - not a single free chair, I was thinking great, this is going to be hours.
The staff were very pleasant and to my surprise my son was triaged within 25 mins. We then went back to the waiting area and saw a nurse within another half an hour and were sent straight to A&E where my son had to have emergency surgery. I cannot thank the staff enough who work hard to make such services quick and available to us during the weekends.

Normally the centre is really good but took my son here yesterday with a suspected broken finger, upon arrival the place was packed I'd say 60+ people in a small area we totally understand these places get busy, we filled out the questionnaire on the computer and waited an hour to be seen but this was only to be booked in to come back 2 hours later? Why did we have to wait to be told this? Or even give a warning on entry with an expected consultation time.
Come on surely if you have a computer system this could have told you this at the time so we could have made a choice to either attend A&E or come back nearer that time without having to wait in a packed area with people coughing and sneezing, we all feel ill this morning with sore throat and headache, where are the infection risk staff in this NHS after the pandemic? I'm not in health care but even I could tell it was an infection hot-spot, we hear it on the news all the time now about the flu and covid etc etc and the NHS being over run but this didn't seem to bother the staff at the centre yesterday!!!!!
It asked for my mobile number surely the computer system could advise that you will be notified when you are called so you can sit in your car or wait outside?

A poor excuse for a medical centre. Maybe we visited on a bad evening? We were advised by 111 to bring out 10 month old son here. He managed to get seen to fairly quickly and the staff were friendly enough. However the waiting room was dirty. There was no sound on whatsoever, the water cooler was broken - so there were no drinks to be had. (Thank god for the dessert shop opposite!) There was also a couple of intimidating looking guys parked in the drop off zone (in the way of the entrance) I don't know if they were part of the pick up and drop off service that is arranged by the hospital or not.

The facilities are basic to say the least.

POINTLESS! may as well be an underdeveloped country. I'm am forced to leave this review as in 5 years this is my third visit twice for myself and once accompanying a family member and each time I just don't understand the point of this place. You go because you feel worse for wear, you wait ages today was 4 to 5 hours wait and then they do obs and basically either tell you to go to Royal(where you'll get admitted or teated) or visit a physician with a print out. If we go to Urgent Care we know we're seriously ill or suspect somethings wrong and don't expect to be then ushered on after sitting with all the other ill individuals. Always if you can please just travel further distance to a Main A & E will save ypu pain and large number of hours. You'll just feel even sicker wasting time sitting in this place when they don't provide even being able to prescribe medication or supportive care. It's an unnecessary stopping point!!!!I couldn't see to drive wasted £30 uber only to have to go elsewhere WILL NEVER attend Never again. This is why some people suffer in silence just pointless.
