I recently had a root canal procedure with Dr. Simon Pope, and I couldn’t be more pleased with the experience. From start to finish, his professionalism was evident, and it really put me at ease. This was a tooth with curvy roots that other dentists would not attempt, but Simon made the entire process as comfortable as possible.

He took the time to explain each step, ensuring I was fully informed and at ease. The treatment itself was painless, and I could tell he was focused on providing the best care. The entire team at the practice were warm, welcoming, and highly efficient, which only added to the sense of professionalism and care.

I was genuinely impressed with how well I was looked after, and I’m so grateful for Dr. Pope’s expertise. If you’re in need of dental work, especially something as daunting as a root canal, I can highly recommend him. You’ll be in very capable hands.

If you want a transparent and professional service, delivered with care, then this practice is for you. In the 18 months I've been a client of S&P I have received excellent treatment and no-nonsense advice, without being pressured into unnecessary operations (something that was a recurring theme with my prior dentists that put me off visiting for many, many years). Rebecca (my hygienist), and James (my dentist) and the rest of the practice team have been absolutely wonderful and I cannot vouch for them enough.

I’m very nervous when it comes to the dentist, I decided to go private because I thought this to be the best option after reviewing their website. James, my dentist; Took the time to get to know me in my assessment, he learned all about my dental history and was patient with me when it came to the examination. It’s a very in depth and informative review into my teeth which is explained in full detail and a plan was devised within the hour on how we can move forward. It’s a very welcoming and relaxed environment. For anybody anxious about going to the dentist I strongly suggest Shelley & Pope
