A beautiful day out. The donkeys are gorgeous and seem very happy. Many chose to come to the fence for a fuss, but they weren't forced to if they didn't want which was nice. It's clearly what's best for them not the visitors which is as it should be.
The staff and volunteers were great, very friendly and knowledgeable and were happy to stop for a chat and answer questions.
Shocks stole my ❤ī¸ a beautiful donkey.

I will definitely be going again when the open days start next year. Thank you

Love the donkey sanctuary. We were lucky to visit the one in Derbyshire as they had an open day. Free to go and stroke a donkey. A small pop up shop in the barn where you can also get a nice bit of cake and a cuppa. If you ever in Sidmouth and like donkeys go to that one. It's a good half day out.
