Andrew at Penn Clinic was highly recommended by a friend's osteopath (not local to me) & for good reason. I found him to be that ideal blend of professional yet affable, erudite yet down to earth. He was happy to share relevant exercise & nutrition tips & links. He eased my tight head, neck & shoulder muscles that contribute to my headaches. I am grateful to have found an excellent local osteopath.

Absolutely phenomenal experience with Alex for my mummy MOT. I felt heard, seen and uplifted. I would highly recommend to anyone who’s had a baby. The knowledge and expertise shared was fantastic and I came away feeling reassured and supported.

Vishal. Is a really friendly and down to earth oesteopath. Very knowledgeable has some insights that othe oesteopaths had not told me before. He is very gentle and works at your pace. Very reasonable price, when you consider what others can charge. Found the place hard to find it is a little tucked away. But is a lovely practice with friendly and helpful reception. Would highly recommend; it is further than I would like to travel; but he is well worth the visit.

My wife booked me a session at the Penn Clinic after I'd been complaining about leg & elbow pain for a couple of months. Was seen by Andrew the next day - great guy, really knows his stuff and also very personable. Andrew checked me out and then proceeded to work on me - have to admit I felt great when he'd finished! Someone in an earlier post called him a "magician" - he certainly is when it comes to muscle pain! He promised he'd send over some exercises which duly arrived that afternoon and I've started doing them. Would definitely recommend Andrew & Penn - shouldn't have waited so long to visit. Thanks again

I've been receiving treatment from Penn Clinic since I was 13 years old. I was a dancer seeking relief for tension headaches. I have been treated by a number of practitioners at Penn and have left extremely happy with each of them. I have since stopped dance but I continue to receive treatment here 🙂

I brought my newborn son here for treatment for torticollis which was causing him discomfort and contributing to a poor latch breastfeeding. Alex was so wonderful with him and we noticed changes within just a couple of sessions. I came to Alex in what were some very challenging early days in my breastfeeding journey and I honestly don't think I would still be breastfeeding (now at 10 months!) if it weren't for her guidance, encouragement and reassurance. I would highly recommend the clinic.

I first visited the Penn Clinic over 20 years ago. I had been on operated for a partial lumbar discectomy on my L5 disc and still had remaining sciatic pain and lower back pain which caused me to limp. I lived in Leeds and had been discharged from the surgeon at the hospital with no follow-up treatment despite my still painful condition. My GP referred me for physiotherapy which had no effect and then The Penn Clinic was recommended to me via an osteopath I had 1 appointment with in Leeds before I moved down South. I was in complete despair and pain at my first appointment with Caroline and had pretty much lost hope of recovery. The Clinic's holistic approach enabled me to slowly begin to recover. As well as the treatment I received along with exercises I was given, I no longer limp, I can exercise at the gym and the treatment was overall a life saver, both physically and mentally.
Following a car crash a number of years later, I again needed some intensive treatment and the clinic supported my recovery. Caroline has a network of excellent practitioners that I have been able to access to support my health needs over the years.
Additionally, my son, as a toddler had "glue ear" and my GP refused to refer me to the Penn Clinic and instead referred me to an ear, nose and throat Consultant who confirmed that his hearing was impacted and needed treatment. The Consultant was happy to refer me to the Penn Clinic and after 4 treatments Joe's condition was resolved avoiding the need for the invasive grommets procedure.
My elder son also received treatment following whiplash from being punched in the face. Again, he recovered well due to the osteopathic treatment received.
I cannot recommend the Penn Clinic and osteopathy enough for a range of conditions and fully support all the treatment offered by the Penn Clinic.
