My Mum spent three months at Westview Lodge, she was put onto end-of-life care and sadly passed away on the 28th of August 2021. I couldn't have wished or wanted anywhere else for my Mum to be. The care, compassion, love and support from the staff on the Marine ward was second to none, we were so well looked after and more importantly so was my Mum. Nothing was too much trouble and her every need was catered for, I'll never be able to thank them enough x

2021 I was hospitalised with serious case of Covid which nearly killed me 5.months in total I was admitted to hospital. 5 weeks in a coma on a ventilator . Recovered in the respitory warn then came to West View Lodge for 6 weeks rehabilitation to get me back walking again . Jill Rooney head physio and her dedicated and professional team helped me back walking with 4 weeks of arriving . Its the Hardest thing I have ever had too do in my life. I listened and sometimes argued with Jill as I just wanted to stay in bed lol. Jill and her team are truly amazing at what they do . As long as you listen and are willing to do what they tell you . Ya will make it. I owe everything to them. The ward staff are incredible Cassy Lorraine Toni treat so well they were ALL dedicated in one thing looking after you and getting you well enough to get you the hell outa there as quickly as possible.

Our Mum has dementia and was admitted to Westview Lodge a few weeks ago following the sudden death of our father who was her sole carer. She has settled in really well and a huge thank you goes to Melissa, Laura and the team who are providing excellent care for our Mum. You are all amazing!

I visited a resident here and was very impressed with the care and cleanliness of the home. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Residents get a choice of food for meals. There is a nice courtyard with plants and bird feeders which many rooms overlook. Only criticism is that it could do with more parking for guests - the car park was full with only staff.
