Wish I stuck to the reviews on this services, some really nice staff (more good than not). However management are appalling, wish I Listened to the reviews before they massively let me down. They sugarcoated everything, then instantly I saw through their act. This company is just for show... They sent me back to the abusive hospital I came from. They wasn't abusive but was not much better, it didn't feel like supported living, they was clipping my wings. And lied to get me sent back here. But put a post on their LinkedIn stating how they went out their way to get me out of the hospital, bet they haven't updated it with how they demanded me out, and got the traumatic place to come into my home and take me at 10pm at night. Letting me be excited about going to see my family the next day, knowing full well they were going to send me back there, without telling me.
Now I'm worse off than before, it only lasted 4 weeks, will miss the staff I'd bonded with , with all my heart. Just wish they didn't lead me on, and make false promises they couldn't keep up when I got there. Was there for 4 weeks and they didn't even write a careplan, didn't communicate leaving me to tell the new staff each day. Meds were messed up and they tried blaming myself. Luckily I had the capacity to knowy own meds and was independent because they are extremely unreliable. the Key to a good service starts with management, it's such a shame it all came down to that. I really needed a service I could trust and rely on. They didn't even sign me up to the local GP, or order my meds till they'd ran out. They refused to look into complaints and continued to put those staff on me and defend them with all their power. AND MORE... Avoid at all costs- From a service user of this company, and DO NOT make the same mistake of falling for first impressions and their simple promises they fail to keep. Then they ignore the phone/hang up when you call them to try to sort stuff out. Knowing full well they are in the wrong!! But thanks once more to the staff who truly cared, you made the short time I had in the real world worth while!!!

If your looking to place a loved one here please don’t!! My son received the most appalling care!! Medicated beyond recognition for over 3 months because they do not have the knowledge or experience to look after a person with Autism.
I wouldn’t give it one star but for the fact it makes me on here!!
There are far more superior Care Providers out there.

Anyone considering placing a loved one in the care of this service please don't ! the care my son received was appalling! they medicated him beyond recognition because they don't have the knowledge or experience to deal with challenging behaviour. I feel a responsibility to warn others this organisation cannot even deliver a simple care plan!! Since my son's move from their care his health and wellbeing has improved dramatically, there are much better providers out there. This service lacks knowledge, experience, empathy and compassion towards residents and their families. It's my opinion that the care industry would be a much better place without this newly opened service Blue Ribbon of Penwortham, Preston, Lancashire. I have also made the CCG ,Midlands and Lancashire CSU and Local Authorities aware to seriously consider against placing anyone else in their care.
This has had a serious impact on this young man's life !
