I have just moved to Hatfield from Islington and was nervous about changing surgeries as I had a wonderful team in London. Nonetheless, I can confirm Dr Steward and the lovely receptionist have been absolutely wonderful. The new online system is so quick and Dr Steward sent me a referral in under an hour so I could get my scan sorted, super impressive work from a busy surgery. Thank you for all your care and kindness.

Lovely surgery. Great staff, rarely a problem getting an appointment. Was concerned about the new system of filling in a form rather than calling but have used it twice and been excellent. Completed request in the afternoon and was able to be offered a routine appointment. Today I did a same day request and got a call within 20 minutes with a same day appointment. Much better system than the 8.30 scramble and appointments gone quickly. Having worked as a GP receptionist this is a much better system.

We are so privileged to have such a fantastic surgery as Potterells. I have always been grateful for the care and helpfulness the Doctors and Nurses have been towards me and my husband and would particularly want to say a big thank you to Dr Singh who cannot do enough for his patients, and was so impressed with the special excellent care he provided me I honestly felt like I was in Private care what a fantastic team of medical staff you have at Potterells and we are so lucky to be patients there.

Excellent service from Potterells Medical Centre. We had travelled away for a few days and I had forgotten my meds. A quick call to Potterells and the friendly and helpful receptionist solved the problem. She kindly diverted my next batch of meds to a pharmacy close to where we were staying, and a few hours later I was able to pick them up. What a great, efficient system. A big thanks to the receptionist and to Potterells for having such a system in place.

We are so blessed to have such a wonderful surgery. I have always been able to get an emergency appointment on the day, and the staff are so kind and thorough. Every time I call, the Receptionists are so efficient and sympathetic.
The care my family and I have received, has been second to none. A massive well done to you all 👏. The NHS is certainly not dead!

Fantastic surgery. As a family we have been with Potterells for nearly nine years and have received consistently excellent care. Between us we have seen about five different GPs and all have been fabulous. I am a big fan of the call back service which saves you waiting on the phone in a long queue, and I love the fact that I have been steered towards specific GPs depending on my needs. I have had great experiences with all surgery staff. This surgery are so good that my wife and I are putting off a house move so we don't have to leave the surgery, after all what is more important than the health of your loved ones. Well done Potterells, keep up the great work.

Phoned this morning just after 9am, hoping to see somebody today. I was 2nd in the queue so opted for the callback. I was seen by a Dr at 9.50 &, after collecting a prescription from a local pharmacy, I was home by 10.20am. Mine was a minor issue but I'm still very impressed by the help & service I received today. The callback option is a huge plus. Thank you.

If you try and get an appointment when the surgery opens (0830 am) - they have changed the phone queueing system so you no longer are able to sit in a queue. This means you have to repeatedly call them several times a minute for the next hour in the hope of being allowed to sit in a phone queue.

Less work for receptionists I guess.
Completely focused on what's easier for them but not what people looking for medical support need.
