It’s a tarsus! Tiny but huge selection of good quality food. The only thing that is tight is the isle. If you got down one with a wheel chair you’d never turn round. Two customers need to pass with mutual respect!
Well worth a stop and lots of opening hours! Co op stuff is hugely improved over the years!

This is not a rating about the staff here who are perfectly pleasant, it is because of the awful stench in this shop.

What the hell is up with that? As long as I have worked in the area (3 years) the shop has had a disgusting smell near the fridges, but usually, it isn't detectable in the rest of the store.

Today I went in and it was more pungent than everywhere and inescapable. I genuinely had to leave because I was gagging. Poor staff that have to work in there.

Someone sort it out because it smells like a rat has died in there it is terrible

Very busy shop in great location. Fabulous staff rattle through the transactions always with a pleasant disposition. If only all shops were like this! Great stuff 👏

Open 'til 10pm (Sunday hours may vary). There's parking right outside, but it does get busy during the day, so I go late. It's not huge, but it is packed with a good range of products and a number of takeaways and restaurants nearby, so it's ideal for those things you forgot to buy earlier... or buying your significant other some cookies so they leave your takeaway alone.

No issue with the shop it’s self but honestly every time I go I’m there and I mean every- regardless of the time of day either you are left waiting to be served for at least 10minutes and if you ask for someone to serve they say your rude- madness

Staff are great! Just the fruit us sometimes over ripe as its quite hot there. But they have a great choice of food and a good choice for vegetarians too!

What a lovey shop and lovely staff. I’m actually from Birmingham , but I’m a live in carer and my placement for 4 weeks is in sheering . I had an hour break yesterday , so I walked to this coop . I’d say a mile each way. I was I need of my slim fast shakes . Sadly after getting their , they did not stock it . But after speaking to one of the ladies who works their called Liz, who was very helpful, she offered to go to Tesco after work for me and pick it up and drop it off to me as she lives near by ....... omg seriously who would do that !!!! I was so grateful to Liz. And not only that , she didn’t want me to struggle carrying a 4 pint bottle of milk back, that she brought that to me too. I offered her petrol , but she totally refused . So I thought I would come on here and give her a mention. So thank you liz and the team for helping me out yesterday....... you made my day ...... hope to pop in again before I head back to brum on the 11th ...... keep up the good work .
