This company has started caring for 97 year old mum. She has been seen 3 times by 3 different carers. I have also met one of the managers who came to do a assessment of my mother's needs. I'm so grateful and happy that this company have been recommended to help my mum in her final years. Thank you

My mother had another carer service since April, and nhs changed due to 'concerns' A contract was agreed and this service took over. They d9nt turn up or turn up 2 early early and today, 1.5 late and told me no time agreed, LIED!
I called to ask why my mum is waiting as contractually times were agreed.
They said 1) "you're wrong" 2) we didn't agree 3) it's down as 10am and carer running late, more lies.
Phoned again: explained mum is still waiting: 1)"because she just came out of hospital - i said, 4 months ago " well we didn't know that" 2) Can't talk to me as I'm a carer, No, I'm her son 3) Can't talk to you as you're aggressive.
Anything but admit they were incompetent thus far.

I am having so many problems with CBU in not doing times stated, not turning up on time, and most recently had a carer come out of flat go away and come back and another do a shimmy under the door bell camera so as not to think she was detected and logged over her time I'm flat. I never get a promised return phone call when making a complaint on service and am told times stand!!.

Outstanding. Obviously I saw a lot of different carers but the overwhelming majority are excellent, kind, caring people. Of course they have a dreadfully short amount of time to give care but still it was excellent. I had enablement and received just the help I required. The carers were always happy to help with only things I struggled with.
Some communication between admin and carers went wrong but nothing terrible..Carers are obviously too stretched and underpaid hence always in a rush.
Sadly they don't seem aware of any protocol with regards to the current virus threat.
Please sort it out!
The admin centre staff are excellent when I've called to make changes.

Care By Us have been providing care for my Mum in her home for 2 years. Everyone has been wonderful and she has been very happy with them. Unfortunately she now needs to move into a nursing home for medical reasons but we will always be thankful to this company for making Mum’s last 2 years at home more comfortable.

CBU have been providing care for us for a few months now.(28 visits a week) This company is well run. Carers turn up on time and have dealt with any issues as they arise. Everything is well documented for the next carer to see. There is always someone in the office and the staff have apps on phones for communication. So far the carers I have met have been very friendly , helpful and professional.

I would just like to say a huge thank you to everyone. Although my mother was only looked after by Care by Us for one month, I found each and every one of the Carers to be extremely kind, considerate, gentle and compassionate.

I would particularly like to thank mum’s main carers Andrew and Yvonne, their attention to mum’s needs was second to none and I am extremely grateful for their help and advice.

Thanks also to Val & Mia, Claire & Janet, Claudia & Daniel and Rafael & Renata who were all exemplary in their care towards mum.

Lastly, a special thanks to Sharron for going that extra mile towards the end of mum’s life.

Absolutely appalling company. Lack of communication between myself and the company. Carer's lying about bathing my mother when they Clearly hadnt. Not turning up at all to administer important medication. Paying for 30 minutes of care when on some days 13 minutes was provided. Duty of care is a legal requirement once the contract has been signed by both myself and the company but has not been full filled so breaking the law. And bad comments that have been left on Facebook have been removed. I would you thoroughly investigate this company before hand and set up cameras inside the home of the person they're caring for as evidence. I will be taking my case with them further and feel sorry for the people they must care for who don't have family members.
