Passed onto this Company twice by Aviva the first time they only had one clinician in my area and cancelled the very first appointment without even telling me. Then it was we can’t help you we have done all we can you have to go back to Aviva. On the claim Aviva paid them £96 for nothing what a waste of money. I have been passed back to them and turns out the clinician did not want dealings with them again and removed herself from their network. Basically they can’t help you they are merely a moneymaker scam for insurances to have a 3rd Party. DO NOT GO THROUGH THEM tell your insurance you want to deal directly and find your own councillor and claim it back it’s the easiest option you could end up needing therapy just dealing with this shambles of a company.

I'm very happy with my experience with Onebright. Initially, I was set up with a therapist with whom I didn't click at all. I called Onebright after my second session and explained the situation and asked to change therapists and they were super understanding and very accommodating. My second therapist was absolutely amazing and helped me work through a lot of personal challenges. Overall, highly recommend

Further to OneBright's response I would like to point out that I did send an email about two weeks ago and no-one responded to it. This is exactly what others are saying in their reviews that you do not get a response. You are treated as just a number and not as an a client that is ill and needs help.

My husband is having a terrible experience with OneBright which my company uses through Aviva. We have raised complaints with Aviva and Onebright which do nothing. I would strongly advise my employer to stop using this company.

The whole process of even getting to speak to an actual therapist gets you in a worse mental state than when you are referred to them. There is no autonomy over what therapy you want or think you need or any choice in therapist. You have to fill in a form and then multiple people probe you and ask the same sensitive questions in phone calls. Things which should be discussed in actual therapy. All the while typing this all out (again) and for the next Onebright employee to ask the same questions again.

They don’t seem to care about the actual humans they are talking to. You are just passed around like a number in a spreadsheet. Which seems weird given they are supposed to help people feel better.

OneShite more like. Please please avoid these people. This is an absolutely shocking service and a formal complaint as well as contact with the CQC is underway because of experiencing them. The staff are reasonably polite to be fair, but Their SOPs are almost non-existent, there seems to be no demonstrable well-being considerations for patients who are seeking help (I have direct first hand experience whilst advocating for someone else) from a clinical point of view. Basic professional code of conducts and good practice are not observed by some of their so called advisors, and little safeguarding or patient-centred care is demonstrated. Dealing with these charlatans is a very quick way to descend into the abyss of MH struggles, if you are already suffering. Avoid like the plague. In fact catch the plague instead of dealing with these people if you can…ultimately you will probably suffer far less.

Extremely professional service. My counsellor was very friendly, knowledgeable and empathetic guiding me through many coping techniques and ways to view my problems.
I would highly recommend therapy as a way of coping and learning how to cope.

My experience with onebright has far surpassed my previous experiences of talking therapy. I would urge anyone thinking of therapy to give them a try, I guarantee you won't be disappointed. I have always been dubious of CBT, so I went in with low expectations and they were exceeded 🙂
I contacted them after a long history of mental health issues, and at a point where I was burning out and overwhelmed. From the triage, to the dedicated CBT sessions that were delivered well and at a pace that I found appropriate and manageable, to the flexibility of the sessions, I couldn't have asked for a better experience.
I have been left with tools to use when I'm feeling the strain and with the promise that I can pick up where I left off with CBT if needed.
I've never felt so comfortable with a therapist before, and this experience and restored my faith in practitioners ♥ Thankyou so so much xxxx

Had a terrible experience with One Bright instructed by Aviva. I've raised complaints with Aviva and my employer to stop using this company.

Avoid using One Bright if you can, you'll end up in a worse mental state than when you were referred to them.

They don't care about giving out incorrect information, they don't know the terms of the policies they provide the appointments for and the complaint handling experience is zero.

I even tried reaching out to their CEO Donald Fowler to no avail. Have reported to the Care Quality Commission as there needs to be an independent review of this place and investigation into the quality of care they provide.
