I Arranged a celebration of life event with afternoon tea at the hotel. From my first meeting with events co-ordinator Sophie through to the day after the tea, everything was great. All staff were caring, friendly and empathetic, the service provided was amazing. I had booked the conservatory for the after service tea for 30. Food was fresh and presented attractively on cake stands and a memory table set up. The location overlooking the gardens was lovely, shame the weather wasn’t 😊. The staff working in the event were attentive and looked after our guests very well. I would highly recommend the venue. Thank you Sophie and crew for making a difficult day a success 🥰

We had the most incredible stay here. The hotel and grounds are beautiful. And the spa and treatments were amazing. We both left feeling refreshed. The health club facilities were also fantastic. Perfect place to unwind and relax. This was my 2nd visit and I’ll definitely be coming back. Amazing choice. I would highly recommend!

My sister, mum and I visited together after I had been previously with friends. It improves on every visit - the rooms are clean, spacious and have lovely views of the grounds. We loved the spa and health club, and found the food and service in the hotel particularly good. As a gluten-free coeliac, on both visits I have felt immensely comfortable and well-cared for, which can be rare! The gluten-free options are great and the staff take great care in ensuring the food is safely prepared and not cross-contaminated. The breakfast had a separate station with a gluten-free toaster and Schar GF cereals. What a win! Thank-you for a super experience, we’ll definitely be back.

Venue is beautiful, some staff at the hotel were wonderful, others didn't seem to want to be there. Dinner was a shambles, many options unavailable, drinks left empty throughout dinner and plates removed very late. Treatments in spa were lovely but couldn't experience facilities due to being so full all day. For the price of a spa break this wasn't worth it. We won't be booking spa break with any bannatyne again.

We stayed at the Bannatyne Hotel and Spa on Saturday, 14th December, and while the hotel itself was lovely, we were quite disappointed with the "spa" aspect of our experience. Having stayed at much better spas in the past, this fell short of expectations.||||The "spa" felt more like a leisure centre with treatment rooms rather than a true retreat. The wet facilities (pool, sauna, and steam room) were open to gym members, creating an atmosphere more akin to a public leisure centre than a relaxing spa environment. While the gym was of a good standard, this wasn't what we envisioned when booking a spa break.||||The staff in the treatment area were lovely and attentive, but the overall vibe was far from the tranquil and exclusive retreat we hoped for. To top it off, when we left the leisure centre, we noticed a staff member texting on their phone, which didn't leave the best impression in terms of customer service.||||On the positive side, the hotel itself was fantastic. The room was great—clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The staff were friendly, and the food was of a good standard, making the hotel stay very enjoyable.||||Overall, while we would consider staying at the hotel again, we would definitely avoid the "spa" and recommend rethinking the term "spa break" for this package. It sets an expectation that, unfortunately, isn't met.

I had an amazing birthday here. Went for 1 night but it was wonderful. 😊
Bed is very comfortable and size is huge, spotless room, large bath - enough space for 2 people.
Friendly and super kind staff.
I would recommend this place. 🙂
