Have been a patient with Priory for nearly 30 years. The service has deteriorated in recent years. The doctors themselves are generally really helpful, but it's an olympic sport to persuade the admin team to even give you an appointment. Unless you're almost dying you'll get a text to say they might see you in 2 months' time (might). Really terrible service.

Useless. Been a patient for 14 years and have visited numerous times and never get to the cause of .my issues.
I tend to just put iup with pain and stress rather than put .myself through the hassle of asking for help and getting gnowhere.
After requesting care yesterday evening .imissed a phone call this .morning on ly then to be told to have to submitt y form again .only yo be told I have a 4/6 week wsit to find out if I may or may not get a appointment. In the mean time I'm having to struggle with work even though I can barely walk because I wouldn't even be able to get a sick note

I have recently moved into the York area and registered with Priory Medical Care.
I have been very impressed so far. I have needed a number of issues resolving for me since my move and they have delivered on each one so far.
Their online form is the best way to contact them initially and then they ring you back to resolve your issue as appropriate.
There is often a long wait time to get through on the telephones, but when you do get through the staff have always been polite and courteous.
In the current climate of overwhelming demand for local GP services, I think they are doing a terrific job. Thank you.

Nearly 20 years with Priory medical group York & the last 5 years they have drastically gone down hill!!! Left a previous review & I must have hit a nerve as its been removed after 2 months! New Doctors are brilliant & i was seen same day I registered....?
Only wish I had left sooner!!!!

Had a Poorly baby over Christmas that got ignored and is still poorly and hasn't been seen 2 days later and now they've even cancelled a home appointment to give a Kesempta injection for an MS patient - Cancelled for "Unforeseen reasons". They literally just want their Christmas so have cancelled or ignored as much as they could. It has completely ruined my christmas.

Generally excellent service - online booking form is very straightforward to use and I have always received a phone call a few hours after submitting it. All nurses and doctors I have spoken to have been very kind and helpful. Getting doctor’s notes can be more tricky but on a day to day basis this surgery has been superb.

Call handler named mel very rude not helpful and patronising. Although the doctors at priory cornlands road who I have had contact with are lovely. Maybe more training in empathy is required for the call handlers who think themselves as qualified doctors
