My Aunt moved in to Tusker House in January 2021, when it was no longer safe for her to live alone.

Tusker House had not had any covid infections as they had independently taken decisive action, and closed their doors well before government restrictions took effect.

It was very difficult not to be able to see how Aunt was living. Having said this, her mood, and even her cognition, were markedly improved during the time she was there.

We were able to spend her final 4 days with her and witness the exemplary care she received. The carers were truly caring and proactive, attended to all her comfort needs.

We are so grateful to Tusker House for giving our Aunt a quality of life that she hadnt known for some years.

We unreservedly recommend this care home.

Mum stayed here for 7 years. And all that time received kind, respectful and professional care. Very happy with the care, activities and the way staff interact with residents and visitors alike. In those 7 years only one negative experience from the owner? Or maybe senior manager. I live in Amsterdam. Visiting during Covid on this person cut our visit short about 15min because of a mistake she made. I was very disappointed, but her curt reply was" you can visit next week" I was very upset with this remark because of course not living in the UK I couldn't just pop in. She made no apology either for her mistake. Thank God this woman is not usually involved with residents or guests! Care staff and the manager we saw mostly are exceptionally good. I'd recommend this place to anyone!

My mum passed away after almost 5 happy years in Tusker House. She was really well cared for and her death was one to be envious of: calm, peaceful supported by people who knew her so well. Surrounded with her Beatles memorabilia and music playing in her own room, not alone and not suffering. We are incredibly grateful to the team of staff who made mum's life worth living again after 20 years of decline. I leave it to my mum's own words "I am so lucky to be here". She truly was.

They looked both after my Nan and grandad and I couldn’t be more happier with the staff and care they both received. I know my sister already left a comment but would like to express my own gratitude for the care that was provided to both my nan and grandad and I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending the home to any of my friends looking for somewhere to provide the end of life care for there loved ones. Of which both my grand parents received. thank you Tusker house for the great care.

Tusker House provided excellent care for my mother over her last 3 years of life until she died there in March 2018. Their staff really Care for their residents. In fact she had the same core group of carers throughout her time. I cannot recommend Tusker House highly enough.

I have visited Tusker house on many occasions with my family as my nan stays here for respite care every few months. The home is warm and friendly, staff welcoming and cannot do enough to ensure that my nan feels safe and happy. I wouldn't want my nan anywhere else. I would highly recommend

Can not fault this nursing home I had 2 relatives at this home the staff was very caring to them and they both loved there time there.
They was treated with respect and kindness highly recommend this home to anyone thank you for everything you done for us.
