I have not been happy with this surgery having several medical issues which has affected my mental health after being asked to by my neurologist the gp referred me to health and mind . I made a written request to see the referral and have a copy and me several telephone calls to chase it up to be told today they will not give me a copy ? I contacted ico and with their advise sent a written complaint to the surgery before they take forward the case I just do not need this stress from a gp surgery they are supposed to be supportive but not seen any sign of this .

Avoid this surgery I was left with serious high blood pressure and no diabetes medication by dr Lewis I ended up going to A&E several times as I was so ill she refused to take me off a medication I was allergic to and refused to prescribe the medication I was prescribed by the medical team at A&E she wouldn’t even talk to me after I disagreed with her . I am now at another surgery that put me straight on the right medication .

I wish I could give a 0 stars review. This used to be a really good surgery but unfortunately has gone significantly downhill. The reception staff are incredibly RUDE and you just cannot get an appointment at all. The receptionist staff prevent you from getting medical attention from the GP because they won't book you an appointment. The staff need to be retrained in customer service and kindness.

Terrible surgery. You'd have the same outcome, treatment wise, if you asked Google/AI for advice.
Try to avoid.

I've always received excellent care for myself and my family. They are a kind and caring surgery and are always helpful.
I think the surgery provide an amazing service considering the pressures the NHS and GP's are facing.

I have had a terrible experience trying to get support for a Ukrainian refugee with a heart condition who is staying with me. You have to ring at 9am to get a phone appointment, and they cannot provide a translator, they won't give you an indication of time slot beyond 9-6.30 before you call, and the call we had arranged happened outside of the given timeslot. The cardiologist at the local hospital write to them to tell them what prescription and tests were needed, and after a month of having no follow up from the surgery we had to call to get them to action it. When I asked what the complaint process was if I hadn't got anywhere with the practice, rather than being told about the official health complaints service, I was told to look for another surgery if unhappy. I have been trying to get a repeat prescription all week, and was told they wouldn't just to prescribe to people 'going on holiday', as the lady concerned is returning to Ukraine to support her family at a difficult time, for a couple of weeks. We will be seeking a new surgery.

Never had any issues with this surgery and we have been registered for over 10 years with them. Dr Lewis is fantastic with the children, always listens and is very understanding with parental worries. Appointments are usually easy to get hold of but you must call first thing otherwise they get taken very quickly. Very happy with the service I receive.
