Thank you Iona! Iona released a tongue tie for my 2 week old daughter, and it was an amazing experience. Iona is incredible at her job, and she obviously loves it too! She made us feel comfortable and in safe hands, heard and supported. We saw an immediate improvement to feeding, and the healing process has not been difficult at all. I would highly recommend Iona 🙂

Highly recommended! Iona was great with my 5 month old this week, he had a 75-100% tongue-tie which I am so glad he has had released.
Iona was very professional, informative and great with my son before and after the procedure.

We used Tongue Tie North East recently following a recommendation from our midwives. In short, Iona was exceptional - she put us and our wee boy at ease throughout.

Our baby had a 100% tongue tie, Iona explained the procedure and the follow up care clearly and professionally. The procedure took only a moment and our boy was immediately feeding better.

Iona also took time to give us advice on feeding. We are bottle feeding and often feel ignored by the NHS. Iona's advice was excellent, thoughtful, and without judgement.

Could not recommend more highly.

Would 100% recommend… Iona is not only so knowledgeable and reassuring she is caring patient and listens to you. After being told that our daughter’s tongue tie was ok numerous times I just knew it wasn’t, and private was our only option, I am so so pleased we went. The procedure was fast and totally professional. Her feeding has improved rapidly and she is without a doubt happier in herself, would highly recommend.

I would highly recommend Iona and I just wish I had been in touch with her sooner for a tongue tie assessment. Iona is professional, highly knowledgeable and amazing with babies! We went to see Iona after a really poor experience at another tongue tie service and the difference was staggering. Iona was very professional and knowledgeable and explained things very well. She made me feel very comfortable when I was really stressed and worried putting my baby through this procedure a second time essentially. She was confident and divided the tongue tie without issue, showing us the before and after photos which was really reassuring. As a healthcare professional myself everything was as you would expect in a healthcare setting. My little girls feeding is now so much better, it’s made a huge difference. I honestly can’t recommend Iona enough! Thank you so much!

Iona is amazing! My concerns about tongue tie were really downplayed by the nhs. After getting a recommendation for Iona I enquired online and she messaged me straight away, she was so helpful with questions I had before. We went today and I can’t thank her enough, she was so caring and helpful with her support and the information she gave. She let us go at our pace and she did the procedure so quickly, our boy was settled quickly after it and I can only put that down to her amazing skills. As a new mam I got upset and she took care of me and my partner, can’t comment on aftercare yet, but from what was explained it really feels like it’s above and beyond service. Thank you so much again ❤️

We can’t recommend Iona enough. From the very first contact to the after care, you feel very looked after and listened to.

My son had a release done by Iona when he was 2 weeks old- he’s now 2.5 and the difference in him was immediate and now he won’t keep his tongue in his mouth 😆

When my second son was born, I suspected a tie due to the way he was feeding and how uncomfortable he was during and after a feed, and it was a no brainer to contact Iona for a consultation.

Turns out he had a 50% tie. Once again everything was explained and all my concerns and questions answered. At no point did we feel rushed or pressured. Once the tie was released, the difference was immediate and his latch was so much better, this has only improved more since being home and continuing the exercises.

Iona checks in with you to make sure everything is going well and she genuinely cares about your little ones and you. Highly recommend!
