x-ray machine was broken on my first appointment. 6 months later, x-ray machine broken on my second appointment. I was then sent to the hospital to get a full panoramic xray done (waste of my time, travel expenses and needless exposure to additional rediation compared to a standard xray). over-the-top x-ray showed my teeth were fine.
that dentist then left and the new one was confused why I'd had a panormaic x-ray done. Since then the only interest has been cleaning my teeth. I have several issues which I raised on numerous appointments and they didn't care to investigate any of them (sensistive teeth, teeth crooked, jaw hurting, teeth being worn down exessivly). One appointment I said I think I am grinding my teeth, dentist asked me why I thought that, I said I chatter them when I'm awake. He then said he can do me a mouth gaurd for £80 and being the patient I just went ahead with this. 30 seconds later I had thought it through and was like "hang on a sec, why are we doing this treatment without any real investigation?" so I said to stop.
Anyway, I then found a friend at work has an invisiline to fix their crooked teeth and I was annoyed as I was under the impression only children could use braces. So I'm now extremly annoyed my dentist never even discussed options like this with me.
I'm now looking for a proper dentist who actualy knows more about teeth than how to clean them.

I had a terrible experience with this dentist... so much so I've joined Bupa just to go to a top dentist. Wouldn't let them near my teeth or gums again... never had an injection hurt so much in my life, took me 10 years to get over my fear in the chair and now back to square one.
